I saw Delaney and Mulaney. The former was alright, the latter I was really excited for and he delivered.

10. John Mulaney (COMEDIAN, yep.) Definitely my second favorite comedian of the weekend (second to Todd Barry of course). Todd Barry was also fantastic. Loved the way he dealt with the Spac3man spillover from the Maine tent, which was hard trolling the comedians in general. Favourite bit was when he imagined 3000 people backstage getting in Spac3man's face.

These are the reasons I love Todd Barry.

GUITARSQUATCH!!!!!
1. St. Vincent - I love her. We are getting married. The end. 2. Jack White - HE WAS SHREDDING SO HARD HE WAS BLEEDING ON HIS GUITAR 3. Tenacious D - I have waited a really long time to see them play and they blew it out of the water. Fantastic set. 4. Beck - This was out of control. That guy was out of his mind high and sounded amazing. Great set and great to have the full band from Sea Change with him. 5. Beirut - Perfect sunset with the beautiful sounds of Beruit.
Those are not necessarily in order, the first four are tied. I saw some fucking amazing music this weekend.
I was underwhelmed with Pretty Lights but really enjoyed being there with my Sasquatch people and partying.
I am still not much into Feed Me (although it is more interesting than some EDM and we got some Robyn) but being there with that huge group of us and knowing that I helped spread all those glowsticks around was an unforgettable moment. Thank you sincerely to all of you.

Alright now that I've thought about it:
-Jack White. Fuck man, I think this might have been my favorite show ever. -St.Vincent. Couldn't believe how hard this girl could shred. I made Robbie come along even though he'd never heard of her and it ended up making his top 5 too. -Feed Me (and I don't remember a lick of the music) 'cause come on....really? So much fun. -Silversun Pickups. Just bouncing the whole damn set I was so happy. -Feist. Damn girl damn.
Honorable mentions: Explosions In The Sky, Of Monsters and Men, Metric, Joy Formidable, Grouplove, Head & the Heart, Reignwolf, James Murphy, alls of the comedy.
Really, I was not disappointed by a single set except Portlandia, and I really don't know what I was expecting there. How was everyone so good this year? Holy shit!

1.) Jack White -- because holy fucking shit. 2.) Beck -- because 'Hotwax' and 'Motherfucker' and 'Minus'. 3.) St. Vincent -- because fucking St. Vincent. 4.) Tenacious D -- I didn't think I would be half as impressed. So many great moments. 5.) Girl Talk/The Roots -- I was equally surprised by how much I loved both of these sets.

Weenie, did Robbie hate us? I couldn't tell. No way!! We were just talking about all you fuckers last night. You and Storms and Souly were his faves. We were pretty much into doing our own things this festival and he knew I had a big group of friends to keep me safe so he wasn't worried. Also he's not much for the womp so he missed the big boarder partays. But he was really happy to meet my internet friends and see why I like them so much.

Girl Talk was so awesome. That set alone made the Friday drive worth it for me.

I think a more pure description of Saturday would be Jacksquatch, and Sunday would be Harmonysquatch. Gotta run but will expand on this later.

I try to say 'to each their own' as much as possible, but if you don't have Girl Talk or Jack White in your top 5 I can only assume that you weren't at those shows.

I think it's amazing how much being in the pit VS up on the hill can change a performance in your eyes.
Sat way up top for Feist and thought she was painfully boring and at least 5x worse that the first time I saw her, yet I come here to see she was in the top 5 of so many boarders. I think her set must just not have been loud enough to carry that far and I do remember the bass from the dance tent conflicting from where I was sitting.

I don't get the Feist love either, and I was down on the floor.

I only caught a couple songs, and I thought it was fucking great. That's why I was so let down at Sasquatch. It felt like a punch in the face to not bring the whole crew she brought to the desert.
