Top 5:
1. Bassnectar - WOMP WOMP WOMP WOMP WOMP 2. Chromeo - Sexy fuckin dance party 3. Matt & Kim - Such a great party. I didn't know how it was possible to have more of a crush on Kim. Plus all the mid 90's hip hop interludes were awesome. 4. Foo Fighters - amazing 5. MSTRKRFT - the tent was rocking. The dudes totally killed it.
Biggest disappointments: Flaming Lips and Foster the People (the sound was AWFUL)
I actually really enjoyed Skrillex. I was along the outside of the tent and people were going freaking crazy (including Friendly and Souly!).

Sounded just like the album, meaning he probably just pressed play, and I still have no idea how anyone can dance to that stuff. No. It didn't. AT ALL. If you actually know how his songs go from start to finish then you would have known that he mixed the FUCK out of them for this set. It was the best Skrillex set I've ever seen and has made me a fan again. Everything I hated about his live performance has been improved on significantly and he played absolutely flawlessly. Oh, and you should have been watching me, because I didn't have a problem dancing to his "stuff" at all.

The crowd was shit during Skrillex, at least inside the tent. The mass of people surrounding the outside was fun enough though. I have a million things to say about him, but at least in between the last time I saw him and Sasquatch he learned how to mix. When I saw him in January he couldn't even beatmatch, and he plays live with ableton, which does that for you. THIS. And yea, I never stepped foot inside the dance tent (except for the last half of MSTRKRFT when we moved into the front left). The outside back area in front of the Red Bull thing was an amazing place to get your boogey on.

I had a fucking dream I was at a giant house party at my grandparent's old house last night and we somehow got Matt and Kim to put on a set there. Thats how much I fucking loved their set. They are right behind Modest as my favorite of the weekend.
Local Natives was also absolutely great; we had a good dance party in the pit for them and their mustachioed greatness.
!!! had everybody dancing and that guy was cracking me up.

Modest Mouse - Finally got my chance to see them and was blown away. Made staying in the pit area since Cold War Kids with no bathroom breaks or water refills worth it.
!!! - I didn't think Chromeo's sexy dance party would be topped. I was wrong.
Sharron Jones - I would make babies with that woman.
Flogging Molly - Made me feel like I was 20 again
Against Me! - Great way to start the festival
Honorable mentions:
Chromeo - would be top 5 but their set was exactly the same as Coachella Cold War Kids - Sounded great. Did the CCR song justice. GBV - still got it

Bassnectar and Sleigh Bells tie for first Chromeo/Major Lazer/Matt and Kim tie for second Macklemore Flogging Molly Dj Anjali and The Incredible Kid, 5 times.
Biggest disappointment, Skrillex. The way he plays music makes me want to punch an infant.

I still dont have anything against the guy, but I have no interest in seeing him live. Kudos for enjoying it, I wasnt trying to bring you down, just not my thing. That being said, I dont do 'Molly', so that might be an issue, but I'm sure people not on high drugs enjoyed it too. I was so depressed (but sort of happy because I got a better spot) when practically everyone left after Skrillex and missed Major Lazer. I mean, its fucking Diplo for fucks sake.

I mean, its fucking Diplo for fucks sake. I had to miss Major Lazer, but, after seeing a Diplo solo show the previous week, I had no desire to be anywhere near him again anyway. He was terrible.

Probably in no particular order. The five best sets I saw included:
Pink Martini. HOLY SHIT. One of the most awesome, sexy, surreal performances I have EVER seen. MOTHERFUCKING BRAZIL. More thoughts on this one later.
MODEST MOUSE. I take back EVERYTHING I ever said. This is one of the greatest sets I've ever seen at Sasquatch. I was going to leave in time to see the start of Ratatat but I couldn't walk away from it. They sounded just SO good. I felt like I was twenty-two years old again. Amazing. I CAME AS A RAT? What the fuck? BABY BLUE SEDAN?? WHOSE LIFE AM I LIVING!?
Bassnectar. All you fuckers were there. I don't even really need to say anything about this. This was the physical manifestation of all the weirdness this board represents. Even mase was there being a creeper!
Black Mountain! Holy shit. By far the best set I saw on Monday. I smoked out a seventeen year old kid; me and Friendly D and Stormy and Souly rocked our faces off. Dude I will never miss another opportunity to see Black Mountain.
Robyn? Foo Fighters? Flaming Lips? Sleigh Bells? I didn't see a bad set all weekend. I was blown away by every single one of them. I'm forgetting some. I'm still, like, residually high. I have a lot to say about this weekend and I'm trying to get it out in clumps because I'm also still recovering.

Matt & Kim was probably my favorite of the weekend. Soooo much fun. Same. Well I would say they were tied with Bassnectar for #1 for me. It was everything perfect about sasquatch all at once for me. Out of the group I went with it was only myself and my girlfriend, it was during sunset, matt & kim had an insane amount of energy, the crowd was awesome, they covered Better off Alone which is one of my favorite songs ever (guilty pleasure), etc etc etc

1. Ratatat ( The birds freaked me the fuck out, also great use of the drugs music video ) 2. Flogging Molly 3. Local Natives ( fuck ya dance party on the hill ) 4. Chromeo ( Clearly inflatables should be on everyones camping list, also brilliant use of tp ) 5. DFA1979
ps. diplo mixed dub way better then that emo kid and switch is the most hilarious hype man ever. pps. foster the people biggest crowd at yeti stage ever?
Did anyone catch gold panda or flying lotus? how were they? so bummed that was the worst conflict of the fest for me at least.

That's because Skerrit Bwoy is the reason you see Major Lazer live. Without Skerrit Bwoy, there's no point.

Even listening from home I was flipping my shit (see: Live Stream thread).
