I'm doubtful they'll play It's All Gonna Break with the time they're allotted. My prediction: opening with World Sick or KC Accidental and closing with Ibi Dreams of Pavement. I'd love to see Spiral Stairs come up for Texico Bitches but since BSS and Pavement are playing different days and Pavement jetting around quite a bit I'd deem it unlikely. No matter what they play it won't be a disappointment.

So, how does "Meet Me In the Basement" compare to "Lover's Spit" and "It's All Gonna Break" as a finale? I think I jumped higher during that closer than any other song of the festival.

I really enjoyed that song as the closer. I personally was hoping for Ibi or It's All Gonna Break but I'd have to say that I didn't leave disappointed with their choice. Meet Me In the Basement is an epic track that really makes for a good finale. I think I was comforted by the fact that I'm seeing them again in October and they'll probably play almost everything I want to hear. Many thanks to Sasquatch for booking them and introducing me to the band, they quickly became one of my new favorites when I started listening to their material a few months back. All to All was awesome live, that girl that sings it is fucking gorgeous. I wonder what the chances are of Feist making an appearance in October.

Yes, I do believe ten years from now, I'll remember my first live viewing of "Meet Me In the Basement" as one of the most memorable Sasquatch 2010 moment.
When they said Sasquatch was the last show of their tour, I just about said, "then why do I have a ticket to see you in October?" I know, different tour, though not really.
Lisa is easily better than that Stars chick, which is what I refer to her now. Feist only plays with them in New York and Toronto. That sucks. If they ever reunited all 91 members of the original lineup, I will buy a plane ticket to see them.

I'm strongly considering driving to see them the next night in Portland too, even though they'll probably play a very similar (if not identical) set.

I didn't think this was their best set. This was the sixth time I've seen them. I'd chalk it up to setlist and 42(!!) hours of travel beforehand. From the new album I really wanted to see Art House Director and Water in Hell.. that was a bust. They were good but not great and damn if that Lisa Lobsinger doesn't come off as a lofty indifferent cunt.

She always looks like a stuck up bitch. It's just her thing I guess.

I don't dispute her looks or voice but it seemed like she didn't want to be there.

i've met lisa a few times before in non-concert settings, and she's pretty low key to begin with. i didn't notice that she seemed indifferent, but i guess i was just enjoying the set too much to care. also keep in mind that she's pretty new to the bss thing, and her other band does not tour, so there could still be some nervousness.
