I'm on hour 10 of a 14 hour day... the reason I'm working overtime isn't the greatest but I LOVES me some overtime pay right now!
Plus, I got to spend 15 minutes babysitting a guest's dog in his room today (the sweetest pitbull puppy ever!) and then the guest tipped me ten bucks. And it was roast beef day for dinner and now I get a second dinner since I'm also doing half a graveyard shift! Most days I really hate my job lately, but today is going pretty great.

The new house I moved into has a dog and I'm SO EXCITED! I've been in an apartment for over two years now and haven't been able to have one.
haha, I was at Calgary's pride parade over the weekend and in the beer gardens the humane shelter had a booth set up and they brought a whole bunch of animals. Seriously it was the best thing ever. Drunk me could not understand what was happening. I spent half the day playing with puppies and I wanted to TAKE THEM ALL HOME AND LOVE THEM FOREVER.

I hate working a job that absolutely does not allow overtime, ever.
And my "part time job" doesn't start till October, and I dont get killer "hours" until January. Though if I keep my foot (and the rest of my old, falling apart body) healthy, I could make up to $4k tax free in Jan/Feb alone.
