I stopped by Ewam Garden of One Thousand Buddhas this evening. This is such a beautiful place. Definitely worth stopping by if you are near the Missoula area. www.facebook.com/ewambuddhagarden

No wife. No kids. Sat in the backyard for a bit and had a couple of afternoon beers. Went inside and cranked up Sigur Ros' ( ) to a bone rattling volume and had a nap, which was probably the best (and only) nap I've had since the one I had on the hill during Bon Iver's set at Sasquatch.
Now I'm listening to music, still at a high volume, and prepping up a nice dinner of NY Strip with mushroom risotto and green beans.

My bestest friend is in Calgary today for meetings, and her office happens to be in the same building as mine... so I got to start my day with a coffee, my best friend and her dog. Awesome.

I'm home alone. My stereo told me it missed being this loud.

I'm home alone. My stereo told me it missed being this loud. "Dear Souly. Your pictures are still hanging on the walls. We need to fix that...." A+

Occasionally, the small office that I work out of will acquire a box of doughnuts. And occasionally, the daytime crew will leave one or two of said doughnuts behind for the nighttime crew (which right now is me, exclusively). I have been heading straight for the break room every time I've been to work for the past month in anticipation of a savory morsel, each time with results to my chagrin. But tonight, fucking tonight, like a beaming light from Jesus illuminating the stratosphere, laid before me a large box containing not one, not two, not fucking three, but FOUR "Legendary Doughnuts". FOUR! There was raspberry, and sprinkles, and chocolate and some creams in there somewhere. Needless to say, I feasted like a diabetic king.
Now you might ask "but Burrito, why the hell didn't you just buy yourself a doughnut you crazy bastard?", and the answer is that I can never find quality baked goods in Seattle at the hour which I desire them. That hour being approximately right now, hence my excitement for Voodoo in that other thread. This may be classified as an addiction at this point.

Ok that was too fucking weird.
EDIT: Referring to the fact that I mentioned Legendary right before reading your post.

Ok so I finally got my time off for Figstravaganza! I haven't booked m flights yet but I'm assuming I'll be flying in to Portland Friday night and flying out Monday sometime. I can find my own way, but if someone could pick me up that would be lovely. I'm not sure any of the plan, so let me know if that's not going to work. I could possibly drive, but I'm worried for my car, and I won't get to hang out as long.
I also have September 14-19th off for Rifflandia and Animal Collective! Rifflandia is over on the 16th so if anyone wants me to come visit on the 17th or 18th before the show let me know!! I tried to get more days off to go to the Portland show too but it's not going to happen.

I took Friday off so I wouldn't be left out of shenanigans while at work.
