Also making me smile today: reading Michel Foucault's work. This dude was one of the craziest mofos to ever be considered a academic and as such, has given me hope that an individual who once stumbled around the Gorge wrapped in police caution tape has the ability to strike out into academia and leave some sort of lasting mark. Foucault is the shit dude. EDIT: Should be mandatory reading in junior high/high schools.

The thought of trying to explain to the PTA that their special little snowflakes are reading the works of a man who's field research included anonymous homosexual intercourse in san Fran public bathrooms makes me all giddy inside.

1. Amazing brunch and diner coffee at Geraldine's Counter with Pea. 2. Seeing Dr. Garbanzo's long lost family member roaming the streets with a scarf made of CAUTION tape. 3. Slaying homework.

1. Ignoring homework in favor of getting my ass kicked in BF3 2. Wandering around wearing a scarf made of caution tape 3. Wait a minute.

Haha! I always love spotting people with soccer scarves, so when I saw a guy walking down the street with something yellow and black around his neck I thought, "Sweet! What team is he wearing??" Upon a closer investigation I realized he was indeed wrapped in caution tape.
Larfs ensued fo sho.

Watching this video from Sasquatch 2010. vimeo.com/22540689I was in the pit on the right side of the stage when I looked down and noticed new jersey staring at the hillside with his back to the stage. I turned around and watched the hillside in awe. By the time I turned back around, it had already made it to the pit.

Thats the best video I have ever seen of that, and still probably one of the coolest moments of my life.

Man, also realizing, as nice as being right front and center of a show is, you miss things like a synchronized dance behind you.
