My sister has a really solid job opportunity in Portland, so she might be moving there. It would be really good for her professionally and it would be pretty sweet for me to get to go visit her there all the time.

I had to drive to Idaho for a court appearance yesterday. Appropriately, I listened to the Clash for the entire duration of the drive. I was hella not smiling up until the point when I entered the courthouse, when the security officer's phone rang, and his ringtone was the Clash's recording of 'I Fought the Law'.

Well my friend, allow me to tell you a little story about Burley, ID. When you are booked there they open an account with your cash on hand, and you can pay a per minute charge to use the internet on tablets. Social networking, Netflix, all the good shit. Don't think I won't be using this thing twice as much if I end up having to go back.

I'd say it sounds way to privileged for criminals, but the U.S. legal system is all about making money, so I'm not surprised.

Do not start a debate about the legal system of America in the smiles thread.

Do not start a debate about the legal system of America in the smiles thread. That certainly wasn't my intention.

I honestly cant believe Burley's jail is like that. Ada County (where Boise is) certainly is not.

I checked the IRS website and my tax refund was approved and will be deposited into my account on Thursday. I officially don't have to wait for my paycheck on Saturday to buy tickets, provided I can get my hands on that presale password. Bothsquatch confirmed!
