I usually choose songs I hate for that reason (also greater incentive to hit the snooze even faster than normal). There was a span of about a year that I woke up every morning to Panic at the Disco and became such an asshole during the day because of my rude awakening each morning.

My roomie and I were discussing what he'd pay me to clean his room/bathroom and do his laundry. I had a price in mind. His opening offer was 2 and a half times what I would have done it for.
I know its kind of sad I'm willing to clean up after him for money. But its money. And its mostly laundry. And I'm almost done. Woooooo.

That's an awesome set up! I've always wished I had a roommate who could afford to pay me to do the housework, what a great way to make some money!

He's the richest, dirtiest and laziest person I know. Soooo it works well.
One time I got him to pay me 20 bucks to wash his feet.

And then you also never have to get annoyed by him not cleaning up sufficiently, which is a plus with most roommates.

Right. I figure if I offer to do this for him every few weeks, I might not even have to pay rent until I move out mid-summer. And whenever he makes a mess, I'll get a little excited....
I also do 90% of the house cleaning at no charge though... the other roommate is a pretty tidy dude, but I'm still the one that mops and cleans toilets. I dont know what it is about having a vagina that makes me so much superior at cleaning a toilet...

I have a few things to be happy about today: 1. Chromeo collb. with Toro Y Moi? YES PLEASE 2. My onesies are in San Francisco and will make it here on time despite my seller being the biggest piece of shit ever. 3. The National tickets acquired! 4. We booked our place for Voodoo today (rather we are pretty much booked) and we are spending so little money for a place to stay that I might die of alcohol poisoning while there. All around decent Friday!

I'm super poor right now since I'm saving all my money for Sasquatch supplies next week, so I can't really afford to do anything fun this weekend. Fortunately, Yelp (yes, I know they're an awful scumbaggy company) throw a yearly party in Portland where they bring in a whole bunch of local food and alcohol/beer vendors, masseuses, live music, the whole shebang. It's totally free. Free servings of some of Portland's best local food, free full size beers, free custom made cocktails from local distilleries. It's fantastic. We went last year and it was awesome, and we're going again tonight. Going to be a blast. yessssssssss

You just sounded so unsure about it when you were asked about it before. I am sure you will rock it.

Whiskeyfest turned out to be everything I wanted it to be and more. Great scotch, bourbon, BBQ, chicken & waffles on a stick, awesome music, and bonus spontaneous conversation about Easy Street Records with a cute girl. Makes me kinda want to move to Portland.

I really need to go to a whiskey festival. Now that I can tell the difference between total crap and good stuff, I feel like it would be a blast. I would just have to not get trashed and then decide now is a great time to try that $40/oz scotch I have been looking at all day.
I have always wanted to go to Portland... maybe that is a good enough excuse?

Portland is pretty damn great. Not only is there a sweet whiskeyfest, the organic beer fests they have here are off the chains. We won tickets to one last year and it was in this awesome spot right on the river with about 40 beers on tap to choose from. Doesn't get much better than that in my book.
