My two main bands Southern Fuckisphere and Fucking Portals, got nominated in 3 different categories for the Charleston City Paper Music Awards, so that was a nice little self-esteem boost. As of now I am off work for the next nine days. In those days I get to see Animal Collective twice, Hang Ten with Burrito and Nadine, Hang One with Souly, Pea, Wonk, and Geno (he's going, right?), see the Vaux Swifts, and just hang around in general with my husband, cats, and ferret. I feel incredibly lucky and happy.
