Received an e-mail today with a UPS tracking number for my Sasquatch tickets... THEY ARE ON THE WAY!!!
What the crap?! You even live in my city! WHERE IS MINE?!?
I got my e-mail first so it's MY city now weenie.
I'm not sure how they organize the mail-outs but I ordered my tickets during the November early bird sale so maybe those are going out first? Or maybe it's just random, OR maybe you'll get your e-mail in 5, 4, 3, 2...
I finally got to listen to Shaking the Habitual in my headphones in order and all at once. It is one huge album to digest, but it leaves me feeling the most satisfied kind of full imaginable. 'Full of Fire' is a fucking journey each time I listen to it, and I never want it to end, but the ending is so perfect that I don't mind as much. I have no idea what is making the sounds in 'Without You My Life Would Be Boring' but they are some of my favourite sounds on the album. My favourite changed from Full of Fire, to Raging Lung and then Stay out Here, but currently it is 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me'. I think every song just might be my favourite.

I feel like I am still trying to digest it. At times I love the album as a whole and other times I am tempted to skip tracks. I think it is going to take a while before I formulate my opinion on it. Either way, it is music that makes you think (or you can just lose yourself in) and I dig that.
Got my tax return today, which was hefty. Then got a $100 Visa gift card from my bosses because it's my 1-year anniversary at the company. Between this and the Sasquatch wristbands, things are looking up after a pretty dismal winter!
