He said maybe there would be, maybe not, so I'm not counting on anything. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Tunde Adebimpe drop by and do a couple songs with Massive Attack. I doubt we'll see any big additions, if any, to the lineup.

That would be awesome! As long as we're dreaming, I'm pulling for a Tricky/Massive Attack reunion with Blue Lines played all the way through! Not happening of course, but I am excited about this:

only thing I could think of are the girls in broken social scene or some massive attack guest vocalists.

Why would Damon Albarn show up? I think he's referring to somebody providing an intro to a band, like when Rainn Wilson introduced The National and Fleet Foxes in 2008.

Damon Albarn does guest vocals on the single from the new Massive Attack album. So, yeah.

It'd be sweet if Ezra Koeing dropped by the Very Best set for Warm Heart of Africa. Plus I've heard MMJ often has cameos and guests on stage. I was front and center for Wilsons Fleet Foxes intro a couple years and it was really exciting, I was actually convinced for half a second that Loverboy was playing...

Freelance Whales do a cover of 7/4 Shoreline. I'm hoping that some members of BSS show up during their set for that.

It would be kind of difficult seeing Ezra show up as they're slated to play at the same time in opposing sites... I think the cameos for both BSS and Massive Attack are going to be by far the likeliest outcome for the "surprise guests," otherwise collaborations between artists that are already scheduled could happen, (i.e. MGMT and Kid Cudi, or Kid Cudi and Band of Horses for that matter, even the far off possibility of a blood brothers reunion.)

I've never seen Blood Brothers and I loved them back in junior high haha. I think it'd be awesome.

Oasis type feud? I'm interested in learning more about this, because it strikes me more along the lines of an At The Drive-In breakup where the members form two different bands representing the divergent styles that dissolved them in the first place. Or kind of like a Glassjaw/American Nightmare breakup where someone decides they're done playing punk-influenced music and leaps into the world of pop. But if the members took shots at each other in the media, please link me. Very interested.

I'm hoping the "official" sched says differently because I'd really love to see both, cameo or not. Alot of stars could align for cameos this year, I really hope they get in the festival spirit.

Yeah... I'm still holding out for either Band of Horses, or MGMT jumping on stage with Kid Cudi.
