Alright, so I've got the money for the ticket now- a week and a half after they're all gone, of course. I've been through some hefty life changes in the last couple of months, including breaking up with my girlfriend/fiancee of three years, moving back to my hometown, and trying to reconcile my image of the future now with what it once was. There's a lot of turmoil in my life right now, but when I set out my goals for the year for myself (and there were/are a lot), one of them was to go to Sasquatch. I've been to a festival the last four years, and I always return feeling refreshed and energized, ready to live life to the fullest. Then I came to this board, and was even more convinced that I needed to go again this year. Then the lineup came, and I was not so bummed out that I might not be able to go. Well, you guys sure put me in my place. Its my own fault that I only have listened to 15 bands on the lineup, not Adam Zacks! And you know, even aside from the lineup, I think I'd go just to meet all you crazy cats. If I'm not able to be there for all the craziness we've discussed, I'll probably go out of my mind memorial day weekend. So that's it, long story kinda short. Hope to see you all there!

C'mon, people! Get this guy a ticket! Just make sure you're wearing a silly hat when you meet up with him. Hell, if you hook up J-Dub he'd probably be willing to give you one!

Yes, please, y'all. Let's help this non-beer drinker out. Wait, wait... He's a... what? OMGJKLOLOLZ Seriously people, J. Walter Weatherman is the living incarnation of this thread's title. He loves Sasquatch and the people of Sasquatch so much that his post count has caused him to grow from a mere human into a mighty Super Sasquatch faster than Robin Williams did in that movie Jack. (Get it? Because Robin Williams is incredibly hairy??) Sasquatch ain't no kind of party without J. Walter Weatherman.

I may begin deleting all posts looking for tickets that aren't written by JWW. This needs to happen. Any scalper can write a cute little message saying how deserving they are. WE know JWW needs a ticket, and god dammit, he needs it now! Before any of these other assholes. He has had a rough year, and deserves this shit. Great guy.

Yeah, but after we get the deserving JWW a ticket, we need to rearrange the dates of the actual fest and THEN gather another ticket so that Lumpy can make it. He needs to come tooo!

Based on photo evidence, definitely lumpy. He can ride in my backpack.
He should fit between the vodka and the peanut butter and banana sandwiches just fine.

I just remembered that I have a friend living in the UK who bought a 4-day pass but isn't certain she can go. It's a long way to go for a music festival, but she made the trek last year. She's from out here and has been to Sasquatch a number of times. If she can't make it I'll put in a good word for you, J-Dub.

This would once would be oh so much fun since I would have so many nice people to hang out with. Though, I can't promise I wouldn't consume the vodka and the PB&B sandwiches before I popped back outta your backpack. ...but anyway, the task at hand. FOR CHRIST'S SAKE GIVE J. WALTA a ticket. That man deserves it.

Hey all,
Looking for some love here. Trying to get my hands on two 4-day passes for my girlfriends birthday as it falls on the same week and - being a singer - she's even more of a music/festival enthusiast than I am. The two of us work a lot, so I was hoping this festival would finally give us the chance to explore our love for music together.
Bought quatch tickets for her birthday last year, but fate would have it that a trip she had planned to Israel suddenly had to be re-scheduled to the same date. Was planning to rectify the situation this year, but I dropped the ball as I wanted to get a read from her when the lineup was announced and didn't expect it to sell out as quickly as it did.
Anyway, if you have a ticket, hope you get the chance to go. It's definitely going to be a hell of a show. For those who are unfortunate enough to have had something come up, you'd make my girlfriend very happy if you were willing to part with the tickets.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

If you're going to make additional threads beyond this one -- and please do not take this as an invitation -- make sure they consist of something other than the exact post you put in this thread.

First, I will say, good luck to all getting a ticket.
Second, I will say, "I'm surprised it sold out this quick," is like saying, "really, you can't divide anything by zero?" I know, you all don't pay attention to this as much as we do, but paying a tiny bit of attention will pay dividends. I'm surprised it took as long as it did to sell out, btw.
Third, here is your reward for reading this. Sasquatch 2012 will nearly be sold out before the lineup is announced. Passes will sell out before single day tickets go on sale. Plan ahead.
Fourth, You are all strangers. Some of us like helping out our friends. Just post youtube vids, gifs, movie quotes, tv quotes, and reply to everything you see until you have more posts than I do, and you'll probably get a ticket eventually.
