We've missed the last bunch of Sasquatches...last one was the epic hailstorm in 2006. What I'm trying to figure out...if they are trading tickets for festival length wristbands, how will they be able to enforce the no re-entry from the venue to the campground and back? I don't think I was ever crankier than that night, cold even for my raingear, sick, pms'd and crampy, and waiting for Ben Harper to finish the set-that-wouldn't-die and the Flaming Lips to come on. I think I tried to mentally make his head explode at one point.

They will likely use a barcode or microchip system that you have to scan in and out of the gate.

You're asking if Washington has any medicinal marijuana dispensaries? The last time I checked, they do not. You will likely have no trouble finding marijuana at the campsite. Yer fuckin crazy man. There's one in Covington, for christ's sake.

I seriously doubt that a Canadian would be able to shop at a dispensary in the U.S., even IF he has a card from Canada, which I doubt he does. He was just looking for someone here to agree to sell to him.

Yeah, those cards tend not to work between states, I really doubt they'd work internationally.

They don't ever work between states as marijuana is federally illegal and is only legalized by state initiative.

What are the state laws on radar detectors? I know they're legal here. I don't think they're legal in B.C.

By "the last time I checked" I meant "scouring my memory and trying to recall if I ever saw one walking around Seattle."

Whats the best way to get booze in, I mean any techniques you guys use in particular you could share? I heard a trick of supergluing the seal back on a water bottle, because as far as I know - sealed bottles are allowed in, but here (http://sasquatchfestival.com/venue) it says no factory sealed bottles.
On the campground I imagine light isn't very common at night, how does that work? and when you hopefully stumble back to camp drunk - how do you find your way?
also how does one come across certain "substances"?
And one last thing, I've got friends going but some are going to be arriving seperately and others are in premier camping, is there anyway to meet up with them that you guys could reccomend?
Thanks if you could answer these questions.

Thanks if you could answer these questions. Question 1. Google it. There are methods out there. Also the link you provided says "NO FACTORY-SEALED SODA BOTTLES". Sealed water, or whatever clear liquid you manage to get into the bottle is fine. Question 2. There are lights out there around the bathroom and water stations. Find the closest water/bathroom station and remember the number for reference. Look around you for landmarks, flags, buses, blow-up dolls etc. and use those as points of reference to your camp. Consider bringing your own flag or marker. Question 3. No one is going to answer this question here. Don't ask it again. Question 4. Cell phones. Points of reference in the campground.

Bring a headlamp. Remember you cannot go into premier so they will have to meet you in general.

You've heard various answers because there ARE various answers. Your cell phone might work and it might not. It'll probably depend on what kind of phone you have and the service you use.
And please don't tell us who your cell phone company is, the answer will still be Maybe.

Cell service blows goats at the Gorge. Let's just realize this unfortunate truth. My phone basically converts to a camera when I'm there.

Sorry if "blowing goats" is offensive to those of you into that sort of thing.

And, how early can you get out of there Tuesday morning? Do you have to wait for everyone leave the campground because its not feasible to move a car or can you leave basically as early as you want?

That place clears out pretty quick on Tuesday morning. Monday night even.
