I already have my 3 day pass for the music, but not for camping. Haven't been able to find where the camping tickets are for sale/if they're sold out. Any info?

beautiful.
I hope that if they do sell out they consider throwing down some serious money for The Arcade Fire to close out the show.
I'm cool with Ween being the headliner and all, but it would be an unreal (and precedent setting) move to be get them as a show of thanks to the crowd for selling out the show so quickly and basically ensuring that the festival will live on for at least a few more years.
I've been to a few festivals that have died out after a couple years because of poor ticket sales due to lackluster headliners (due to poor ticket sales...it's a vicious cycle). and seeing a festival sell out so quickly is pretty remarkable.
Think of how many more people will buy tickets early next year if there's an actual chance that an even bigger headliner will be announced if it sells out.
maybe i'm crazy, but to me that's just good marketing.

You should be able to buy camping on Ticketmaster. If camping sells out like it did last year, they'll probably find a way to jam us in. Of course, now that they've learned that they can just pack the place, I wonder if they'll even bother allowing camping to "sell out."

I wonder if it wasn't the extended discount passes after hte lineup was out - have they done that before (I don't recall)

I8, Thanks for finding this. I was wondering how tickets sales would do this year; it looks as though many people are as excited about the lineup as you and I. Of course it speaks to Adam Zacks ability to read the interests of his clientele, but unfortunately it also tells him that business-wise he didn't charge his customers enough. Expect prices to go up next year.

If you weren't already expecting that, you were fooling yourself

Say, you're right... strange. I know Premiere camping is sold out, but regular camping is MIA. Will one of the folks who has been calling/e-mailing with festival staff please get on this?

I hope it doesn't sell out soon, I can't buy my tickets for another month. That would really suck if it sold out before then. Already missed out on the 3-day passes and premier camping. If the whole festival sold out that would be a real fucking bummer!

Correct, they are trying to discourage campers who have no intention on attending the festival. Pretty fun weekend for $99, even if you don't see any music. They are trying to discourage scalpers as well. They won't disallow you entrance to the camp site if you have tickets. They might require you to show your tickets to get a camping pass upon arrival, at the least. If you are really freaked out about it, you can buy a Sunday ticket on ticketmaster, and buy up to two regular camping tickets. You can then sell the Sunday ticket after it sells out (for face of course), and sell the other camping pass to another boarder who also didn't buy the initial pass add on. As for the Stranger, they said word on the street is that Soundgarden was confirmed, so I'm not sure I trust their proclamation that the festival is almost sold out. I wouldn't doubt it though.

Ah, sneaky. You can search for Sasquatch Camping at Ticketmaster, and it comes up as well. If you search for just Sasquatch, it doesn't. Weird.

Three day passes are on sale again. I can't help but thinking this means the festival is not close to selling out, despite what we've heard.

Eh, whatever. If it doesn't sell out that means more music for me...

Three day passes are on sale again. I can't help but thinking this means the festival is not close to selling out, despite what we've heard. i can't help but be kinda really pissed to know they're back on sell b/c i bought each day individually for a higher price. you maybe not think 70 bucks is a big difference but... in my situation it kinda is. oh well... at least i'm going! so i agree with you though, knowidyuh. in fact, a couple days ago, i actually tried to google if there was anything said about the festival NOT being sold out yet. i think it was a selling tactic. i feel betrayed!
