hey, I'm coming to sasquatch from Canada and need to know whether to buy my beer here or there. What's the alcohol percentage on...oh I don't know...Budweiser down there? also, how much does it cost for a 24 of cans?
The reason you are hearing that American beer is weak, is that the most popular (and most available) beers in the States are Bud Lite and Miller Lite or Coors Light. Both beers taste like water and only have 3.5%. Most sports stadiums, and other events will only have a few beers and chances are they are light beers. Stay away from those if you want to get hammered quickly, but I would recommend a good variety. Get some water-beer for when it's 30+ out, get some nice micro-brews for when it's managable weather outside, and then get some potato vodka for when night comes and it starts getting freezing fucking cold.

Alex, I believe your inquiry is based on Molson, which rumor has it is stronger in Canada, and watered down in the US. If you prefer Molson, buy it in Canada. Otherwise, like I8 said, buy a bunch of PBR.
