Hey, I just wanted to post what I think is more correct of the schedule. I'm assuming knowidyuh is right thinking deadmau5 will be on against MMJ from like 1030 to 12ish (while MMJ will go like 10 to 1220 ish). So I figured they'd do something similar Sunday with that extra slot. Anyway, this is just what I speculated. Attachments:

. Anyway, this is just what I speculated. Yeah this is pretty much what I have written in times... question though on the Sunday schedule, was that a typo for Caribou? It's what I have down in terms of placement, the times just seem loopy. There's only one big FML, and that's BSS and Miike Snow, but whatever BSS wins hands down.

Thanks doumak for shifting the Wookie slots. I can definitely see them adding the late night slot. The other option I was thinking would be to shave off 5-10 minutes from each slot which would create either an early slot, or probably a later slot.
Just have to fix the order of Sunday's Dance/Comedy tent and it looks as good as we can get it for now.

Okay fixed. I think they'll be doing this later set times on wookie situation. Especially since the fest is selling out. They need to have more music later to spread out the crowd some. And hell-yeah on that BSS/Miike snow issue. It sucks. Not like I'm gonna miss national either. We can only hope we're wrong somehow Attachments:

Ha, well, that's a new set of conflicts right there. With LCD Soundsystem and Pavement being must-sees for me, that means the best way to spend my time beforehand will be... Avi Buffalo and a cheeseburger. It'll be really annoying to miss either part of Japandroids or Mountain Goats, but I think I can sprint from the main stage/MGMT to the dance tent in time for Neon Indian.
Thank the good lord and satan both (Happy Easter!!!) it's now Vampire Weekend vs. Public Enemy, though.

Hmmm, anybody have a good guestimate about how early I should arrive at the main stage on Sunday in order to get to the front by the time Pavement starts (it helps that I plan on seeing LCD Soundsystem anyway). And please, no comments on how pathetic this question is, I already know.

Nothing worse than seeing a time block where there are absolutely no artists you want to see, followed by a time block where you pretty much want to see every artist playing at the same time.

And please, no comments on how pathetic this question is, I already know. Massive crowd movement after each set ends. To ensure you get a good spot, be there for the last song of the preceding act, then be prepared to kick back for 15-20 minutes. You can basically get as close as you want, the biggest plus for Sasquatch over other festivals. Just to make an overgeneralization, there will be many leaving LCD to go wherever Pavement is not playing, so you'll have a good view.

That schedule is pretty much how I see it happening. I don't think Booka Shade's ranking on the main page is an indication of the time slot they play though. Unless they requested an earlier spot due to travel reasons, they won't open a stage.
It also creates a Midlake/Local Natives conflict, which doesn't make sense because their styles are so similar. Caribou/Local Natives followed by Midlake/Cymbals Eat Guitars make more sense as the opening conflicts that day, with Booka Shade playing later in the day.
dildon or doumak, one of you should definitely update the excel schedule when the real lineup is released. If you recall last year, the main site had a more linear top to bottom schedule, and most prefer the side by side format.

(off topic) i'm seeing local natives and cymbals and they might be giants before tallest man on earth.avi buffalo is pretty cool live too i saw them open for rogue wave. oh and i'm gonna be seeing quasi, BSS, midlake, and if i can get free tickets tallest man on earth and dr dog in the next month out here in philly so i'll give you guys some stellar reviews. as i said miike snow was stellar so (on topic) i'll try to make or break some more conflicts for you guys

Thanks doumak for the updated schedule. It looks spot on.
However, if I were Adam Zacks, I would try to organize the Mainstage a little differently. Instead of basing your line-up times on popularity, I would try to smooth out the line-up to account for similar genres. For example, the Sunday mainstage just seems wierd. TMBG -> Kid Cuti -> Tegan -> LCD -> Pavement -> MAssive Attack? To me that just seems so choppy. I would change it to something like this:
Kid Cudi -> Midlake -> Long Winters -> TMBG -> Tegan and Sara -> Pavement -> Caribou -> LCD -> Massive Attack.
Just seems this way there is a flow of genres, one band to another, except for Kid Cudi (didn't know what to do with him), and Pavement to Caribou. It gives Pavement an early slot (which they won't like), however LCD opening for Massive Attack makes more sense than the alternative. Plus, Pavement would sound better during the day than Caribou or LCD Soundsystem.
Just my opinion of course.

Yo doumak, I dunno if you accidentally uploaded the same schedule as last time, but Sunday's comedy/dance tent lineup is still messy. Monday's is also wacky. I tried my hand at moving cells, but I ended up butchering the shit out of it. If you or anyone else could use mine as reference and neatly move and re-size the cells or text boxes or whatever they're called, that would be neat-o Attachments:

I fixed mine up. I looked at last year's schedule and assumed the times to start the comedy was at 215 instead of 1245 since they only have the 4 acts instead of 5. They might do 1245 & 215, break, 430 & 6. But whatever, It's all good to go now. excel gets easy when school makes you use it. Attachments:

While I think you guys did a good job on the schedule, I really hope you are wrong about the Wookie stage. The way you had it before, starting and ending earlier, had very minimal conflicts for me. But since you moved everything back there is a bunch of bad conflicts, for me at least. I really hope this isn't the case, but it does seem pretty possible.

After viewing numerous "potential" scheduals I just don't see a reason as to why The National and The Hold Steady will be playing at the same time! It just seems unreasonable if that how it turns out to be since they both cater to the exact same crowd.
Might just be me though, but this would be the WORST conflict of the weekend.

BSS/Miike Snow is hard. Hold Steady/National is hard.
Plus later on monday.. japandroids and no age shows are supposed to be great. But Dr dog is awesome live and i've never seen the mountain goats so that's tough.
My biggest conflict is still portugal the man being so early. They fucking kill live. One of the best live rock shows. They deserve so much more recognition.

I will have to check out Portugal the Man since I haven't heard anything before, especially if the show is as kick ass as you say it is.

The album rocks top to bottom. Then Censored Colors. Very great indie rock album - it was written as a concept album with two halves. Then listen to Satanic Satanist and hear a more Indie Pop feel with a huge beatles feel. The new album isn't as good as those three, but it's got some cool break-beat drums. They break into jams in the middle of songs and it so fucking good (excuse the language but i need to give it justice). Not many people playing have such a great feel for the classic rock jam. And they have stellar sing-along parts too. That's why they are so impressive. And, props to them, they signed with Atlantic Records last Friday.
