My wife and I went to sasquatch two years ago and loved it, this year we're coming back!
When we went there in 2008, there was a comedy tent which was cool but it always had huge lineups to get in so we never bothered. I guess now the comedy tent becomes the electronic tent at night which is awsome.....except...... will it be a line-up type deal to get in or can you just cruise in and check it out? I am stoked to see Deadmau5 and Boys Noize but if I have to waste a 1/2 hr waiting in line while missing other bands I will have to second guess seeing them.

There were no lines to get in but it was definitely crowded. If you wanted to get up close you would have to get there a little early. People seem to think that they are going to make the tent even bigger this year because there are bigger/more dance acts this year. Plus they named the tent - the Rumpus Room, so hopefully there will be some overhaul/improvements done. There should not be any sort of line scenario, or that would be a big step backwards from last year.

Is there an age restriction on the Dance/Comedy tent? No. It's very wide open, you can just wander in at your leisure.

Can't wait to hear who hey have for comedy acts!! Katt Williams would be wishful thinking.. lol
And I'd be surprised if Jon Lajoie wasn't booked.. Youtube's funniest. From Montreal, and he tours comedy shows and is blowing up big!

From my understanding, Deadmau5 is playing a bigger stage this year.

From my understanding, Deadmau5 is playing a bigger stage this year. Deadmau5 is playing the wookie stage. I don't know if this will be an improvement, as he was my favorite artist in the dance tent last year, and it may have a different energy being in an open space, also an earlier show.

Hopefully the vibe will be similar to girltalk on wookie, which kicked ass!

Hopefully the vibe will be similar to girltalk on wookie, which kicked ass! which show were you at? I was at the GT show at sasquatch 2009, and I would never describe it as "kicked ass".
