The XX is one of my new favorites. Along with camera obscura being pretty decent. I also discovered the Tallest Man on Earth as well... Fantastic

How could you have discovered them when they were confirmed on your blog weeks ago?
OH WAIT.

Picked up Local Natives' album that just came out, really really loving that so far. People who are bummed Fleet Foxes and Yeasayer aren't on the fest should definitely check these guys out.

I'm holding off on taking advantage of the ol' Sasquatch Record Club until the times come out; like, I don't want to start listening to The XX, get psyched, and then find out they're playing against LCD Soundsystem... Haha you should definetly listen to the xx anyway, definetly in the top 5 albums i got last year. Its hard to take out once you put it inDid we really miss the 'that's what she said?'

i hadn't really listened to much of MMJ or massive attack's music prior to the announcement, but i can now say i think they'll be great headliners for sasquatch. plenty of quality tracks between the two of them. i'm still kind of unsure about ween though.

I've got the same concern about ween. I've been trying to get into their stuff, but it just isn't working for me. Anyone have any suggestions for their best material? Back to topic I will not be missing Mumford and Sons, who have a great sound. Also just started listening to No Age and so far, so good.

I'm starting to wonder why I never enjoyed Massive Attack in the past. Their music is absolutely spell-binding, should be an incredible show. I'm also surprised how many new favorite artists I've found just from dissecting the lineup. Really looking forward to Freelance Whales (debut album comes out next month), Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco, and The Very Best (who, by the way, makes some of the happiest music I've ever heard).

Japandroids. My god, Japandroids. I caught about 10 minutes of their set at the Capitol Hill Block Party last year and for being only 2 guys they absolutely tore it up. Looking forward to catching a full set this time around.

stamper. I've seen em live a good 2-3 times at misc shows & festivals. They definitely put on a show worthy for the crowd to enjoy, even without knowing their music. Minus the Bear is my all time favorite band so I am looking forward to seeing them ... Although last sasquatch 3 years ago they didn't quite please me too much... Festivals they seem to 'sell out' & only play new songs off their record... Like at endfest, ONLY songs off of Planet of Ice. I just bought 'man on the moon' by Kid Cudi & am extremely impressed as well.

After seeing the lineup I finally got around to listening to a few bands that had been on my radar...really liking Nurses, Mumford & Sons and Avi Buffalo.
Also, not a new discovery for me, but may be to a lot of people - The Low Anthem are AMAZING. Timeless songs and good people. Pick up both of their albums, and don't miss them at the gorge!
