Seems like they are closing out the Wookie stage with an older more established band all three nights. Public Enemy are circa 82 and Nada Surf are circa 92, New Pornographers are a bit newer at 97, but still. Interesting versus last year Bon Iver, EITS and Of Montreal (if I'm not mistaken) all new-ish bands.

Well, I know Of Montreal's been around since the late '90s, but they didn't ever get somewhat popular till the mid-2000's (note that that wasn't a disagreement but purely a little tidbit of info as to the history of oM)

Weird, (or not, I don't know), but at looks as if we go by our theory of lineup and stages and such that Deadmau5 is headlining the wookie stage instead of Public Enemy (at least they're listed earlier in the lineup) on Saturday. That just seems weird.

Public Enemy on the Wookie stage and The Long Winters on the Sasquatch stage? uh, ok. They play at different times, chief. It's a bigger deal to close out the Wookie stage than open up the main stage. Welcome to your first Sasquatch.

Also, the Long Winters also played right before Arcade Fire/Bjork the year they were headlining, I believe, so it's not unprecedented. I think Bad Brains played at 4 pm in the day the next day, which felt really weird.
Here's to hoping Nada Surf and Pavement conflict!

Welcome to your first Sasquatch. 2nd* and when did i imply they were playing at the same time, chief? He didn't say you did. He was just pointing out that time is sometimes (such as in this case) more important than stage. I'm more disappointed with the Long Winters time than I am their placement. Ah well

I'd go more by who's listed first in the lineup as in which band Sasquatch finds "bigger"
