Aggregation is awesome! I took the lists, assigned the ranked ones point values and the unranked ones a general value, and then did some other stuff and produced this. Higher number = More "Must See"
Only my favorite band EVER, that's who! 1. Broken Social Scene 158.5 2. LCD Soundsystem 137.5 3. The National 128.5 4. Pavement 127
Hells yeah I'm excited! Do you want to borrow my copy of the LP? It's soooo good. 5. My Morning Jacket 114.5 6. MGMT 102.5 7. Band of Horses 90.5 8. Massive Attack 90

I've heard of them, I think. Good things, mostly. Were they somewhere I would know last year? 27. Mumford & Sons 27.5 28. Kid Cudi 26.5 29. Miike Snow 26 30. Portugal. The Man 25 31. Local Natives 22.5 32. Camera Obscura 21 33. Drive By Truckers 20.5 34. Japandroids 20

Uhhhhhh 44. Phantogram 13 44. Quasi 13 46. No Age 12.5 47. Z-Trip 12 48. The Very Best 11 49. Deadmau5 10.5 50. The Temper Trap 10
I'm gonna go get chicken fingers... oh, wait, THAT'S why that stage is there! 51. Mayer Hawthorne 9.5 51. Passion Pit 9.5 53. Dam-Funk 9 54. Booka Shade 8 54. Hudson Mohawke 8 54. Patrick Watson 8 54. tUnE-YarDs 8
I'm staking out a spot for the next band. I really like the next band. 58. City & Colour 5.5 58. Morning Teleportation 5.5 58. The Middle East 5.5 61. Laura Marling 5 62. The Low Anthem 4.5 63. Avi Buffalo 2 63. Why? 2 65. Nurses 1.5 66. Vetiver 1
I'm glad I didn't explain my scoring system, because this one is hard to explain. 67. Fool’s Gold 0.5

New Jersey, I am going to give you props for your algorithms and spreadsheet calulations because for some reason, no one else has.

If someone made an ordered list, I gave ten points to the first name, nine points to the second name, etc etc. If someone just named ten bands, I gave each band 5.5 points. There were exceptions; like, with the guy who put LCD Soundsystem really high above everyone else, I gave LCD Soundsystem bonus points and subtracted some from the other bands he named to keep things even. Other people who did multiple lists had both half-weighted.

I can't seem to really find any material by them other than a 4 (maybe 5?) song EP. Do they have anything else out?
