Really? I find myself skimming over the 10 band name posts with no explanation. This one I actually read.

I'll respond to your post in the trivia thread about my animosity towards you by saying this: My biggest pet peeve is boarders who feel their opinions have more value based on post counts. I've said this many times, people who know how to write, have decent opinions, and have an entertainment aspect are my favorites. I would prefer more intelligent people, rather than people who have an opinion on everything they read in every thread, and it reads "yes/no." Those with higher post counts trying to scare away intelligent noobs pisses me off. With that said, I enjoyed the noob's top ten, and welcome him to post more often. And even though I'm throwing "drew" under the bus, my peeve was a generalization of what I see on web boards, and it's dumb luck you questioned my peeves in another thread while adding to my real peeve in this thread. I've stated this once before, the reason I give you shit (Drew) is because you provide me a lot of material, and you are a good sport about it. For the latter, I dig you.

10. Bright Eyes - I was disappointed when I saw them in 2005 at the Moore, way back when I was living in Seattle. Too many pubescent girls screaming, "Marry me, Conor!". Too many weak songs. I want more I'm Wide Awake but I don't think that's where he's headed with his setlists this year. Here's hoping. As discussed, excellent first post. Anyway, HEY I WAS AT THAT SHOW! One of my first in Seattle. All I really remember about it is the band opening with Sunrise, Sunset.

Alright, I'm going to participate in this thread but in my own way.
These are my top tens bands that I am interested in seeing but have not seen before(in no particular order):
1.) Wye Oak - Has anyone else listened to The Knot? Talk about a beautiful sound. I honestly don't know how someone could listen to it and not want to see them live.
2.) Modest Mouse - If there is a band that reminds me of high school, this is it. I remember sitting in the bed of my truck with a few select friends and even a special girl while listening to The Moon & Antarctica. I never got a chance to see them live and have always regretted it.
3.) Old 97's - I went to University in Texas. Just north of Dallas to be exact. This is definitely one band that reminds me of the great fun and friends that I had in the small town of Denton.
4.) Wolf Parade - How can I not see a Canadian band that has actually influenced others? And, I mean, they're like breaking up, right?
5.) DFA1979 - See above, except instead of breaking up, getting back together. K?
6.) Local Natives - Gorilla Manor was one of my most listened to albums last year. They remind me of a much more sad Guster and since Guster doesn't really tour that much anymore I will have to see Local Natives.
7.) Jenny & Johnny - I cheated a little with this pick because I've seen Jenny Lewis at Coachella but she has such a beautiful voice and is quite talented I'm going to have to see what she and her boyfriend have come up with.
8.) The Flaming Lips - Who doesn't want to watch them? This is my first Sasquatch and I know they've played the festival before but I figure this will be as good of a time to watch them as any. A quintessential Sasquatch experience, if you will.
9.) Surfer Blood - Another great band with another album that was in my top listens for last year. Probably a band that won't be coming around my parts anytime soon.
10.) The Drums - You want to have some fun? Listen to the Drums. You won't regret it. Want to whistle along to a song? Listen to Let's Go Surfing. You won't regret it.

This will be my first Sasquatch. I would be incredibly stoked if I only got to see these artists the entire weekend.
1) Modest Mouse- Haven't seen them yet. Need I say more?
2) DFA 1979- Probably won't get a chance to see them anywhere else. They're also amazing.
3) The Flaming Lips- Yet to witness a full set, missed them at Treasure Island (which I still regret). Soft Bulletin plus more? Yes please.
4) Flying Lotus- I need my dosage of other-worldly, tribal, electronic melodies.
5) Foo Fighters- I don't listen to them that much at all anymore, but they were one of my favorite bands throughout middle/high school. The nostalgia trip will be enough to please me on its own. I'm also very interested in the new album.
6) Rodrigo Y Gabriela- I always love hearing talented musicians rock out on twelve strings. Even more so when they are in pairs. Hopefully a sunset time slot! *crosses fingers*
7) Ratatat- Seen them once before. Blew my little teenage mind into oblivion. Been wanting to catch them again ever since.
8) Deerhunter- Love this band, love the new album. Missed them at Coachella last year. Won't make the same mistake again.
9) Black Mountain- Didn't hear about them until the lineup. Got their latest album shortly after hearing one song.
10) Macklemore & Ryan Lewis- Another band I discovered from the lineup. Not much hip-hop on the list, but I really liked what I heard from them.
My goodness, I can't wait!

My top 10 bands that I WILL NOT miss at Sasquatch (and will be really really sad if I encounter time conflicts...) 1. Chromeo - because I want to boogey 2. Sam Roberts Band - One of the few bands in the lineup that I know well but have never seen.. I can't help my little ol' Canadian self.. I just love these guys. 3. Death From Above 1979 - cause I'll probably never get the chance again? 4. Foo Fighters - Because it's fun to pretend your 17 every now and then. And this will be the.. 6th? time I've seen them?? 5. CSS - Fun singing Brazillian girls, how could you say no? 6. K-os - Canadian Rap. Need I say more? 7. The Flaming Lips - One of the best live shows I've ever seen.. ever.. I'm always up for awesomeness. 8. Black Mountain - Just a good time to be had by all. 9. Axis of Awesome - I love the 4 chord bit they do.. also, the comedy acts don't get no love. 10. ....... I haven't delved deep enough into the setlist to decide my 10th.. So this 10 spot is to be determined.

Wow. Thanks for all the responses and warm welcomes, everyone. You're making me more excited for this trip come May.
I live in Las Vegas and driving over 1,000 miles for a music festival is kind of a big deal for me. Yeah, it's my Coachella replacement, but it looks like it's going to turn out to be more adventurous than the trip to Indio could be.
Pea, what's live Das Racist like?
interstateeight, that's awesome. It was one of my first Seattle shows too, although I only lived in Seattle for only a year, and it seems like a century ago. I also saw Sigur Ros at the Paramount that year and that was indisputably the greatest show I've ever been to.

I've never seen DR (though I love both of their mixtapes) but I've heard that they often get really loaded before performing and can therefore be pretty sloppy.

@ robert, I'm forever jealous that you caught Sigur Ros at the Paramount. They are the one band I want to see more than any other on earth. I did at least catch Jonsi on his solo tour and that was nothing short of a religious experience.
As far as Das Racist goes, I caught them at the Sasquatch launch party last week and it was just a huge letdown in every way. With all of the hype behind these guys I was expecting doves to fly out of their asses and beams of light to shoot out of their eyes, but all I saw was 3 wasted guys stumbling around and swaying back and forth on stage. Barely remembering any lyrics and barely barely caring about it either. The crowd, that only minutes prior had been going NUTS for Mad Rad, was literally standing there almost completely unresponsive. It was just a show of total unprofessionalism that left a bad taste in my mouth. They should really take a "How to be a great drunk on stage" class from Matt Berninger.

1. Bassnectar - womp womp bro
2. Foo Fighters - will be my second time seeing them, fantastic live band.
3. Matt & Kim! - My goal for the weekend is to make Kim my girlfriend. I will be giving her the bedroom eyes the entire set. Fingers crossed.
4. Chromeo - pure sexy disco dance party!
5. Wilco - Great way to close out the weekend
6. Sleigh Bells - love the album, hopefully it translates well live/
7. Sam Roberts - represent my Canadian brother!
8. DFA 1979 - not the biggest fan, but I'm interested to see what all the fuss is about.
9. Flaming Lips - Seen them a ton live, and kind of sick of their show...hoping they bring something new with the soft bulletin
10. Robyn - hoping for no conflict with matt & kim!
