I like RATM, and have for years, but I dont really think of them as a good fit for sasquatch..... I'm trying to figure out what that statement even means? All sorts of acts have played Sasquatch, Cure, REM, NIN...

Long time lurker, first time poster.
I don't think I've seen anyone else mention these guys; if so, it must have been a while ago. But with a new album out as of last Tuesday, and no U.S. tour dates announced (yet), what are the odds that Massive Attack is on the bill as a headliner/sub-headliner?

All sorts of acts have played Sasquatch, Cure, REM, NIN... just ignore it. If the band has a sizable alternative audience they fit the bill for sasquatch. We aren't going to see britney spears but RATM or Jack Johnson would both fit in just fine

Massive Attack would be brilliant! Maybe not as a headliner but they'd be magnificent in that setting.

I take it to mean "I want to see only my favorite bands, and don't want to be bothered with having to deal with fans of other music" that may not be what they mean, but that's what i hear

Usually when I am at sasquatch, I prefer happier music, with a fun feel, I guess more optimistic? Dont get me wrong, I love rage, and have for years!

Soundgarden can be a rumor but RATM is out of the question? That makes little sense to me.

Not just headliners but bands in general. And in general there are quite a few. DCFC twice, Modest Mouse, Fleet Foxes and Postal Service all played the main stage (Postal Service is Ben Gibbard, so half NW at least). That's off the top of my head, I'm sure there are tons more.

no doubt the core of the lineup comes from the NW, i checked wiki quickly and I think thats about it with regards to bands that play after 6:00, i'm just saying main end of the night headliners show no northwest pattern

Trying to guess what a music blog's staff writer would mean by "very good" rather than "insane." Honestly.

Joking is permitted; I apologize for missing it. Spent the morning throwing up on a boat. Looks like my internet equilibrium has yet to return also.
