The Posies have been added for Saturday AWESOME! That's a pretty sweet add. I wonder where they will fall on the schedual. Hopefully later to alleviate my possible The National/Hold Steady conflict.

I fully agree and it should be a good show. I was reading that they are playing Frosting on the Beater in full at other shows...that would be alright with me!
Now if only they would throw Screaming Trees into the mix as was rumoured awhile ago.

Jaguar Love added to Monday. So far the adds have been pretty weak but that is good in the long run for the amount of conflicts this year.

while i agree with them in this case, they also gave mumford and sons' new album a 2.1 and they couldn't have been more off. pitchfork really gets under my skin sometimes.

pfork gave the edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros' album a 4.1 which i really enjoyed. they get it wrong a lot of the time. i just found it funny.

ahh yea...that one bugged me too. i sort of find it funny that they are head over heels in love with fleet foxes but bag on a band like edward sharpe.

funny that you say fleet foxes, because local natives are a lot like them and pfork loooooooved their record but then shit on edward sharpe. they "loved" the new flaming lips record too which i feel is more similar to edward sharpe. not that it was better than the flips, but it deserved better than a 4.1. i can't wait for their ranting on the new gorillaz album.

silly silly pitchfork. i was pretty surprised by their local natives review myself. i enjoy them, but they seem to be a year or two late to the game. i guess thats just what happens when u have dozens of reviewers running rampant hating on/slobbering over different artists.

ugh...jaguar love was HORRIBLE when they opened for coheed last fall. Hold up, you paid money to see Coheed and Cambria and you feel qualified to shit on any other band? Ever?

Who gives an unwieldy flying fuck what Pitchfork has to say about anything? That website provides valuable information and periodically interesting interviews. But if you're putting any stock in their reviews, you're fucking up just as hard as peatrick did by paying money to see Coheed and Cambria, a mistake I haven't considered making since I was 15.

Hey interstate...looks like we finally agree on something here! For the most part Pitchfork has the most absurd reviews going...and an even more absurd rating system. Edward Sharpe's album is great and deserves way more than their bullshit 4.2 or whatever it was. But as you said, they are an excellent source for music news.
