I just noticed there's a nice fat gap between May 15th and June 6th for the Flaming Lips' rescheduled tour dates. Someone get Adam Zacks on the phone right about MEOW.

Sorry dude, but his comments pissed me off as well. ...and you of all people should appreciate being easily aggravated by things written on a messageboard. Hell yeah! I do! I'm saying, let's start a Seattle Vancouver rumble! dun dun dun dun dun Not to sound like a dick but this argument is stupid. Do you really think bands are saying to themselves "oh I can't skip Seattle, think of their contribution to the music world?" NO! When a manager/agent maps out a tour they pick the venues that will get the band the most money (within reason) so it very well could be that The Showbox or Neumos or any other venue that they wanted to play already had a band booked for that date.....so what's a manager to do? Do they book a gig at a venue that will pay them half as much or do they drive two hours north and play a Vancouver venue that isn't booked already. It not personal when the band skips your city, its simply business.

Any feelings on Panda Bear? It was just announced he was playing pitchfork today so maybe he could be taking other festival dates. He is also playing Primavera though too...

Person Pitch is one of my favorite albums of all time, however, Panda Bear is really boring live.

Yeah, plus AnCo played last year (so he probably won't show) and when I saw them again later in the summer they played Comfy In Nautica as an encore (so I've already seen anything I'd want to see from that set).

Belle and Sebastian would be a good add. Seeing as how they are starting to announce dates

Arcade Fire confirmed at Oxygen Festival which takes place in early july in Ireland, they are also strongly rumored for Lollapalooza which is in early Aug. My bet, they go through Europe in late June/July (possibly starting with a Glastonbury sub headlining set) hitting all those fests and don't hit the US until Lolla. Bummer, but it was a pipe dream to believe they would have been added in all reality. (maybe Bumbershoot?)

hahahaha okay, gotcha. I thought for a second that was a "I HOPE YOU DON'T MEAN HARLEM BECAUSE THEY'RE FUCKING HORRIBLE"
I've been listening to South of France over and over. And they've got that new album, and since they're not too big and nothing conflicts, I could see a last minute add.
