NJ that's a pretty solid list for the most part. I would second it after writing out the ska.

OK, welcome to me naming bands. Third Stagers: Whatever.Really? Some of my favorite shows were on the Yeti stage last year. I think that's a super important part of the festival. Hopefully the lineup is just as good as last year.

Hopefully the lineup is just as good as last year. I agree, either the yeti has a bunch of local acts that I actually like, or they is bound to be some smaller bands that I will end up liking after seeing them live at the festival!!!!

Sort of older tour news but it's too bad that Brian Jonestown Massacre won't be playing! They seem to be playing everywhere but there. Maybe next time.
I also agree with the other posts about the Yeti Stage. I saw some great bands there in '08...particularly The Maldives, who blew me away!

Nah, it's not that. I've been introduced to a handful of great bands on the Yeti Stage, but the thing is it's as best I can tell typically NW local acts (which I know nothing about) or pre-buzz buzz bands, or both. I'd love to name some hot, hip new bands from the area who deserve the exposure Sasquatch would bring them, but I don't know any.
e: Blacksmile snuck one in there on me, I'm replying to shamil/ryslice.

It starts and ends with Arcade Fire. Put them on the Main Stage at sunset singing "My Body is a Cage" and my head will either im or ex plode!!
Also: Pixies (Please!!) Iggy Pop Vampire Weekend Pains of Being Pure at Heart Wu-Tang Blackstar (reunion has to happen sometime) Prodigy Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson Libertines (Imagine that for a second!!) Ghostland Observatory The Faint Devo Raveonettes
... and Bob Dylan should close it out with "Tangled Up In Blue". Is that too much to ask?

These are probably somewhat outdated or too "mainstream" for the indie-hipster folk but I'm gonna put it out there anyway:
Atmosphere Murs Blackstar (or I'll take either Mos Def or Talib Kweli) The Roots Muse Them Crooked Vultures Ghostland Observatory Air Zero 7 or Sia M.I.A. Rodrigo & Gabriella Helio Sequence MGMT Tunng Silversun Pickups Portishead Feist Cold War Kids Iron & Wine Menomena Andre Nickatina

The best headlining set for this year I think would be:
Neil Young / Arcade Fire / Pavement

I think it'd be pretty sick if Kid Cudi was there. He doesn't have any shows listed that late and I could easily seem him playin a night
