Neon Indian is confirmed according to their booking agency. So shamil, you got that going for you. Nice list by the way - Nightmares on Wax would be awesome.

Don't think many of these would be true headliners... but I don't usually go to Sasquatch to see the headliners anyway. I'd love it if even half of these showed up: Belle and Sebastian - working on new album in 2010? Sigur Ros Arcade Fire Bats For Lashes Broken Social Scene Pixies Band of Horses Battles The National The Magnetic Fields The Helio Sequence The Thermals Wolf Parade MGMT Elbow Yo La Tengo Wolfmother Do Make Say Think Tortoise Pelican Spoon Yeasayer Boston Spaceships The Aliens Film School Truckasaurus Porcupine Tree School of Seven Bells - they can come back to Sasquacth anytime! Grizzly Bear The Wrens Andrew Bird Star Death and White Dwarfs The Purrs Matmos * = they can come back to Sasquacth anytime! Maybe a few bands could reunite for Sasquatch: Electrelane The Smiths My Bloody Valentine Chavez

I'll kick it off. Random order under the headliners. And god damn right I picked Modest Mouse. (Yes, over Morrissey.) MODEST MOUSE PIXIES PAVEMENT Morrissey Atmosphere Belle & Sebastian Blitzen Trapper Built to Spill Cursive Stars Triumph of Lethargy Skinned Alive to Death Girls Japandroids Minus the Bear The Black Keys Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground Cloud Cult Cave Singers Cold Cave Wolf Parade Sebadoh Feral Children The Mountain Goats The National Broken Social Scene Band of Horses The Avett Brothers Bloc Party The Roots Hey Marseilles Iron & Wine Los Campesinos! The New Amsterdams Even though I love them I'm surprised that you would want Modest Mouse to headline... I've seen them twice and both times they were so fucked up they couldn't play or sing... it was rather unfortunate actually...

Hey don't sweat, I used to post completely fucking idiotic shit on message boards when I was a 14-year-old girl too. It happens. Don't be embarrassed, this happens on occasion. One day you won't be a complete god damn moron, though, and then you won't feel compelled to post inane bullshit like this. In the meantime, there are a few exercises you can work on to avoid posting something this humiliating anytime soon: -hit yourself in the face with a hammer -continue spending all your time at Jonas Brothers concerts instead of trying to engage in conversation on the computer -heading back to the mall to buy a Rihanna poster -placing your hands on the highway so cars will run over them and I won't have to read something this awful again Just a few to consider.

He started this thread to invite wishlists, so you have zero room to bash his picks (especially including your track record from what I've seen so far) but if we're going to be serious about these decisions, Modest Mouse is one of this generation's greatest bands. I don't know which show(s) you went to, but Modest Mouse has played some of the most energetic, entertaining sets I've ever beheld. I would love to see them play a headlining set. Realistic? Perhaps not. But on my wishlist as well? Hell yes. By the way, nice pick of Stars, I8 - another good wishlist choice.

I go every year, so I'm not much of a wish list guy. But since the discussion turned to Modest Mouse, and how great or terrible they are live, I'll offer my two cents, since I've seen them nine times.
I read more about this band being hit or miss than any other. As far as I know, Mr. Brock use to be a heavy boozer, and as talented as the rest of the band is, he is the show. I've seen him sober and bored, and it sucked, I've seen him too wasted, and it sucked, and I've seen him really drunk, and it was great. I've also seen him recently sober, and it was outstanding.
It's like playing pool, people are terrible when they are sober, terrible wasted, but seem to do well when they are just drunk. Then imagine if you made an effort to get good at pool while sober, and how good you would be. That is Modest Mouse now, and I would love to see them at Sasquatch.

In no particular order, I'd like to see these people/groups included:
Andrew Bird--the perfect artist for Sasquatch--amazing music that's complex but hooky and accessible, does not fit into any genre, utterly original. Get A.B. and I'm over the moon, regardless of the rest of the lineup.
Ozomatli--they killed it a couple years ago, great music for the venue.
Manu Chao--ok, he played right after Ozomatli, but this is my list, and I want more Manu Chao.
Morrisey--never seen him, would make a great headliner.
KT Tunstall--maybe too poppy/mainstream for some at squatch, but I think she's great
David Gray
Ed Sharp and the magnetic zeros
Flight of the Conchords--sue me, I love them
Iron & Wine--full band or solo, brilliant.
Jose Gonzales
School of Seven Bells--missed them last year.
Sky Cries Mary--local geniuses, legends locally

I would be happy with any and all of these. Obviously its unreasonable to hope for even half showing up, as I realize it's about as top-heavy as a portobello mushroom. I know there are a few return acts, but most have not performed before.
Headliners:
Pearl Jam Daft punk Arcade Fire Phish Phoenix Spoon Leonard Cohen Wilco
Everyone else:
Thermals Cake The Hold Steady LCD Soundsystem Destroyer MGMT Sufjan Stevens Caribou Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah These United States Dinosaur Jr. Ween The Knife tallest man on earth Sleigh Bells The Cave Singers Rural Alberta Advantge Pedro the Lion Belle And Sebastian Handsome Furs Tea Leaf Green Ray LaMontagne Dirty Projectors Ted Leo Kurt Vile Shout Out Louds Joe Pug
I imagine I am missing a bunch, so I may do another one closer to the release date.

Might as well nerd out and throw my two cents in. I realize that many of these aren't likely, but in a perfect world, I'd like to see...
Headliners:
Pavement (check!) Pixies Wilco Flaming Lips Radiohead
Non-headliners:
Andrew Bird Yo La Tengo Midlake White Denim The Breeders Starfucker Broken Social Scene any Wu-Tang Avett Brothers Cut Copy St. Vincent Edward Sharpe The Black Keys Phoenix Noisettes Why? MGMT The Roots Ween Sun Kil Moon Foreign Born Memory Tapes Grizzly Bear Hudson Mohawke Camp Lo MGMT Oh No Delta Spirit Toro Y Moi Friendly Fires Dam-Funk Bear In Heaven Hot Chip
...yep, that's be pretty cool.

Either way, I feel totally comfortable in speaking for everyone when I say that their return would be more than welcome. Count me as one who would high five everyone available if this happens, you know, bro style, but it won't happen. Wilco is playing every major city in the NW in February, which leads me to believe they won't play again in the NW three months later. They are also playing Primavera the same weekend, so traveling halfway across the world to play for fans you just played for is not going to happen. I hope I am wrong, but I like Wilco for Sasquatch 0-11.

Don't know how Brand New would do, but I do remember reading about Jesse Lacey abusing the audience at a festival for seeing his band instead of Explosions in the Sky. My problem with Brand New is that while they have changed and moved on as a band, their fans seem to stay the same.

I actually wasn't impressed with Brand New the one time I saw them live, but I would like to see some of the stuff off of "Daisy" live. I love that they keep putting out new material that actually sounds and feels new. I have heard that Cloud Cult is done touring, but it may just be a rumor.
