In my experience (2010 marks my 3rd 'Squatchy-poo) cargo shorts are golden, as are the elderly female staff. I've never been rejected by a nice old lady.

as for tips to get "other stuff" in to the festival grounds. have a female friend put it in her bra. 100% effective. every time! For "other stuff," I just stick it in my pockets. Never once had anyone ask to empty my pockets... Coming from Calgary, don't want to risk the boarder crossing. I will be in need of some "other stuff". PM me if anybody could be so kind as to help a fellow smoker out. I can and will return the favor should you ever be in my fine country. Thanks.

You shouldn't have any problem finding "other stuff" in the campground. Coming from Canada though, you might find the price to be fairly high. I'm from B.C. and paid double what I normally pay for a quarter. But I will say that it was pretty high quality ganja.

Can somebody that has been to the fest clarify some things listed on the website? 1)it says outside food allowed as long as it is in clear plastic bag. Is there any other outside food restrictions? 2)it says regular water bottles are allowed. Is there a limit to how many you can bring in? 3)are things like juice allowed if there still sealed?

I'm not sure what you have in mind for other food restrictions. The clear plastic bag thing is so they know you are not trying to sneak in something else in a food box/bag. I read once that a Pringles can was great for sneaking in beers, so you'll probably not get away with something like that. 2. Bring as much water as you can carry. There is free water filling stations at at least three locations, so bringing more than three bottles is just extra weight. Do not forget the water bottle though. They charge $4 for a 16 oz water at the festival, and they don't let you keep the cap. It is tough keeping your water in your pocket when it is not capped. 3. No, the only beverage allowed is water.
