;D I have been checking the forcast on the king 5 website for seattle (most accurate and conservative forcasts) for about a week now and dam, It looks like were in for a perfect memorial day weekend ;D Sunshine, warm weather and blue sky sounds pretty nice about right now. It looks as if everyday will be easily in the 80s with the exception of monday in which upper 70s forcasted for Downtown Seattle which is like what...95 gorge temp Im preparing for 4 days in the sun.. Sunscreen, water, shade, ice, and money for 12 dollar beers.... Be sure to bring plenty of all.

Its looking real good. The forecast on Intellicast.com, which I think is generally more accurate than weather.com shows:
Friday - High 84, Low 51 Sunny Sat - High 87, Low 52 Sunny Sun - High 88, Low 52 Sunny Mon - High 89, Low 53 Sunny
Thats about as good as it can be. Hopefully, this will hold form.

Some weather sites do 15 day forecasts, and since we are within 15 days, I figured I would get you excited (to eventually shoot down your hopes when the weather shifts drastically).
Friday, May 28th - Mostly Sunny, High 82, Low 55 Saturday, May 29th - Mostly Sunny, High 85, Low 58

forecasts 2 weeks in advance are so unreliable, but it's probably a good bet that it'll be sunny at the gorge. hopefully not 95 degrees every day like last year though. about 10 degrees cooler would be perfect for most people.

I like the fact that we are within the 15-day forecast, but agree that weather is too unpredictable to take those predictions seriously. If you don't plan for all reasonable weather scenarios then you could very easily be caught unprepared. The infamous hail storm a couple years back is a perfect example. A 99 cent vinyl poncho saved my and my girlfriend's asses that year. We stayed dry hunkered down on the hill while everyone ran around like like mad looking for shelter. It was hilarious to watch, and also awesome that after it was over we had one of the few dry pieces of earth to sit on.
My point is: no matter what the forecast is, prepare for heat, cold, wind, and rain, and hope for the best!

Yeah, if you're worried about the weather then you've picked the wrong place to stay.

Until the clouds block out the sun, and spoil all the fun.

the 10 day outlook is almost consistently between 65-75 degrees and partly cloudly. we'll see what happens as the dates get closer...

If you bring a yurt, you are probably correct, but even if it is not hot, you may have to worry about the wind blowing your igloo away rather than the sun melting it. If you bring something more sturdy, like a wikiups, you'll be protected against the sun and wind all weekend. You'll also be much cooler than the rest of us (you might make extra friends too).

DO NOT jinx us. I am hoping for overcast(without rain) all three days. I'm not really a fan of the sun when it's beating down on you like crackas on a martin luther king rally (sorry if that simile offends anyone)

I get the feeling you're not that sorry.
85 degrees and overcast makes for an extremely humid day.

Yeah, it was like that here today and it sucked. 75/sunny with a few clouds would be ideal, like a world without Mexicans.
