On the 2009 pdf map it shows Easy Street Records stands off to the right of the mainstage near where artists stay. Would it be possible that they are going a route like coachella and bumbershoot where after artists play you have a chance to get a signed cd/lp/whatever.
Coachella had a record store where they would ship the items to you also so the records would not get warped. Either way its pretty cool they are going to have a little shop there.

Hit and miss; but yes some artists greet and sign at easy st. I remember seeing fleet foxes there last year, I think it was after their show.

I avoid the right side of the main stage like the plague these days, but I know the signings were there in 07 and prior, with a long line.
A tip to those who find this little used thread, all the stages are closer to the right side of the main stage, which means there is much more traffic heading down the main walk ways on the right side of the stage, which also means, the crowd is much thicker on the right side of the main stage. Don't say I never did anything for you, and don't tell anyone.

Yeah I found that I had more luck getting down into the main stage area on the left side.
