I had a dream where I met Alex Lahey after a show and she let slip that she was super stoked to be sharing a stage with Ween and Tycho in Washington this summer. I’m officially having dreams about a festival that doesn’t officially exist yet. Snacks help us pls Digging these subconscious rumors. Tycho has a show or two out already so it seems reasonable.

Not only do I have a feeling that there will be zero electronic music, but I'm also anticipating Japanese Breakfast being the heaviest artist on the bill. I like me some Iron & Wine, but if them and Calexico are playing this thing then I fully expect this fest to be geared toward KEXP dads who feel like they've outgrown festivals.

In The Reins was so good though.

Are we still talking about a hypothetical festival? Hi shleeves. No, there is an actual tiny festival of some sorts happening in Port Townsend this August put on by Adam Zacks. Rumor has it an official announcement will be made April 15.

Or maybe I’m an idiot savant? I ruled out Tycho based on lineup crossover info.

Two things I find interesting about the info we've learned today.
1) There is no mention of the word festival. It's as if they're trying to distinguish this as something...different? Maybe to set expectations differently? I've heard that this is going to be smaller and more intimate than what we currently know festivals as, so this could definitely be intentional.
2) Anyone else think the description makes it seem exactly like what Bumbershoot offers? Especially with the mention of podcasts. This seems like an interesting direction to go with a "thing" so close to Seattle happening two weeks before Bumbershoot.
