I noticed that the opening time for all campgrounds has changed from 1pm to 4pm on Thursday. It was 1pm in past years and was originally listed as 1pm for this year - not sure when this changed. Just a heads up if you're planning to arrive Thursday. sasquatchfestival.com/festival-info#camping

I noticed this too and I couldn’t remember if it was always 4:00 or not. This is actually the first year I will be able to go on Thursday, as I’ve always had to wait until Friday before.

Yeah, I noticed this for the first time today. I am POSITIVE that it said 1pm when the tickets were sold. Probably a by-product of expecting fewer attendees and trying to reduce labor costs.
I'm planning to leave Seattle by 1pm and be in line for Gold just before 4pm. Gold line should hopefully be a lot shorter than GA (I've never done Gold so I don't know).
Any advice on how to claim as much space as possible? No RV, we are bringing our SUV, a pop-up, and a huge tent.

I think you get a lot more space in Gold than D9, but I always try to park wide of where they direct me to maximize my space in D9.

Gold camping has roped off spaces I believe. They’re plenty big.

Gold camping has roped off spaces I believe. They’re plenty big. No ropes on Gold. They’re just supposed to allow more space between vehicles when you park, but the process for parking is the same as general camping.

Well that’s fuckin dumb since I seem to have found information about the actual size of land you’re paying for.... whatever though
