Knock the Japandroids all you want, but leave the delicious ketchup chips out of this. Japandroids sound like what ketchup chips taste like. Which is to say GARBAGE. I'll see myself out.

Half, actually. My biological father was Canadian. Not that I ever met him, but Canada is in my blood. Plus, I grew up in Maine, which is basically the US version of Canada.

"Younger Us" is still a contender for best song of the decade, straight up.

What's your deal with always getting so combative over music taste? I get you're trying to be funny, but you do this all the time.

But what about Jeff Rosenstock vs Slowdive

I really don’t know what I would do with a Rosenstock vs. Slowdive conflict. That would be the worst. Probably Slowdive because I’ve only seen them once vs. 14 Rosenstocks. Plus he is only like 5 years older than me and I don’t see him taking a 20 year hiatus anytime soon. Dat sax tho. I would cry.

Today is the one year anniversary of Slowdive but it feels like it’s been in my blood for at least 5.

I’m going to give the National a legitimate chance this year. Down in the pit and everything. Those drums had better be rockin’, or I’m comin’ back to the internet with somethin’ fierce.

I'm slowly coming to grips with the fact that I'm probably going to attend the festival in one of these this year, and it is really going to fuck with how many sets I can "run" between.
