Part of me wonders if Ray will end up "headlining" the Bigfoot stage instead of playing a sub spot on the main. He's billed so unusually high, and I just don't see many people at all showing up for his set. I suppose it could turn out a similar scenario to Ryan Adams, but if I remember correctly his name was a lot further down on the poster than Ray's.

I suppose it could turn out a similar scenario to Ryan Adams, but if I remember correctly his name was a lot further down on the poster than Ray's. Ryan Adams was actually billed 5th on the initial poster (6th after Sleater-Kinney was added), but he has a much larger discography than Ray. I agree that it is an unusually high billing for him, but I really don't see him playing the Bigfoot. He's actually headlining his upcoming tour above (special guest) Neko Case, which seems upside down to me. But what do I know? I'm no booking manager. The only reason I could see for his high billing is if he indeed does have most of MMJ for his backing band, but the tour announcement didn't say anything about his band that I saw.

Maybe Ray will get sick and Jim James will step in??

It's Margo Price, not Maggie Rogers, yeah? I just spent too much time looking at the poster to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Bon Iver listed Sasquatch as 5/25 and is playing Vancouver 5/26, Edmonton 5/28 in a new tour announcement. To play Sunday would mean backtracking, so my guess is he plays Friday.
Grizzly Bear => Bon Iver would have me stoked, but Grizzly Bear vs. Bon Iver would have me decidedly not stoked.

I guess there is a slight chance that GB will close the Bigfoot and overlap with BI headlining the main, but I think them playing the sunset slot on the main is more likely. I'm thinking Friday night on the main will go Grizzly Bear > Tyler, the Creator > Bon Iver. It's going to be quite a shift for the Tyler fans, but should make it pretty easy to get a good spot for Bonny Bear when they all clear out.

Hoping so then, that sounds like a good series for me, although I'm sure someone big will conflict in there somehow. Last few lineups have managed to have some devastating conflicts, and with the depth of this one over only three days I think it's going to be a lot worse.

Anyone else find it hilarious that they promoted the Sasquatch app today as a way to organize a custom schedule? I opened the website immediately only to have a disappointed laugh.

Grizzly Bear > Tyler, the Creator This is a nightmare scenario for me. Flashbacks of Tyler fans talking shit in the front row during Panda Bear’s Sasquatch set, and Wu-tang fans talking shit in the front row during Grizzly Bear’s Bonnaroo set. The worst.

I agree this is a bit of a nightmare scenario. I just don't see any other way it will play out unless Grizzly Bear ends up on the Bigfoot, which would seem like an odd placement to me. Luckily, I think they will be playing at sunset, so I'll probably just relax on the hill for their set to avoid the Tyler crowd on the floor, then make my way down to the front for Bonny Bear after the Tyler kids clear out.

Choir! Choir! Choir! is on Sunday via twitter. Well, that rules out any David Byrne collaboration. Not that there was much realistic hope there to begin with.

Petit Biscuit recently released his tour dates and it has him playing Sasquatch on Saturday, 5/26.
