Any thoughts on who's about to close out Bigfoot each night this year (assuming we have a Bigfoot stage this year )?? Was listening to some Chet Faker tonight and started giving it a thought. My guesses for closers: Friday - Bonobo Saturday - Big Gigantic Sunday: - Phantogram P.S. Thinking about this made me a lil' extra sad that it's only three days this year.

Hate to be that guy but - are there any guarantees there will be a Bigfoot closer with the stated no overlaps? Usually the Bigfoot closer starts during the headliner.

Definitely no guarantees this year. Are you thinking they'll have the headliner close each night? Or possibly the tent?

dolphinately no guarantees this year. Are you thinking they'll have the headliner close each night? Or possibly the tent? Yeah either the main or the tent is what I'm guessing. Even the tent feels like a stretch though unless it starts up a couple hours later in the day than it used to.

All I know is that Sufjan -> Four Tet -> Caribou -> Jamie xx was an amazing night My personal favorite was Akron/Family -> Holy Ghost! -> John Talabot -> Sigur Ros. Runner up Elvis Grimes -> Primus 3D, the end. Second runner up is James Murphy DJ set. I don't even remember what else was that day because none of it mattered.

Either the tent or the Bigfoot has to be the last stage going do people who leave after the main stage headliner have walking out music. Based on the way they're billed, I'd guess Bonobo, Mac Miller, and Phantogram closing the Bigfoot with Kaytranada, Big Gigantic, and Rüfüs du Sol closing the tent.

My personal favorite was Akron/Family -> Holy Ghost! -> John Talabot -> Sigur Ros. This, except I skipped Holy Ghost! because it overlapped too much with Akron/Family. That John Talabot set changed my life. I never had much appreciation for electronic music before that night and those two dudes showed me a side of the world that I never knew existed.

It would be a shame to stick Big Gigantic in the tent. They usually tour with a pretty big stage production. I guess they might travel lighter during festival season since a lot of festivals set up their own stages.

I was pleasantly surprised when I heard them, sort of like The XX but more upbeat... listen to "You Were Right" and "Hypnotised"

They would be a fun set to see in the tent but they're essentially just an australian Odesza

I had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. They're not at the top of my list, but I definitely recommend at least giving them a listen. Bloom is the album I've mostly listened to, but they're all decent.
