I had low expectations but we walked down to the back of the pit and thought they sounded great. Our friends on the hill said it sounded awful.

I mean it was brash and noisy, but like it was supposed to be. Kay, drunk Shleeves has something to say about this, as having experience in audio engineering/mixing. Typically you reduce or elimante unnesseacry frequencies, like the high end on bass, right? Well Sleigh Bells sounded like they were transmitting every frequency at an uncoftavle Balance. Like straight blaring all frequencies from 20hz to 20,000 Ghz. Brash is the exact word for this sound.
