Big Fish Theory for myself as well. Vince's best work to date, in my opinion.
Glad we can agree on all of the things, Genghis.

Radiohead - OK Computer OKNOTOK (I don't want to hear any shit about release dates or reissues or anything. It belongs on the fucking list and you fucking know it.) Also: Com Truise - Iterations ("It's like if Tycho was actually good." - Pea) Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory (I honestly wasn't feeling this one as much as I hoped I would at first; I felt like it needed more Vince, if that makes sense. But it has definitely grown on me with repeated listens.)

Colin Stetson made a metal album?! I feel like this is something I should have been told about. I'm disappointed in you, internet.

So so loud. He played his heart out and it was quite spectacular to see him in a very small bar setting. There was maybe 100 people there. The guy is a genius regardless of who he's playing with. The rest of the band held their own as well. Do not miss them of they come back.

I'm blown away by them and that album has never sounded so good.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Murder of the Universe
I've enjoyed most all of their albums to one extent or another, but this is definitely my favorite so far. I haven't been able to stop listening to it all week. It's probably a top 5 album of the year for me at this point, easily top 10.

Every time I try to listen to King Gizz and his Lizz Wizz I just turn it off and put on an Oh Sees record.

And then usually another Oh Sees record.

Have you ever wished you could listen to Thee Oh Sees while simultaneously not listening to Thee Oh Sees?
Have you ever wished The Oh Sees had long interwoven narratives about mythical creatures and the birth, destruction, and eventual rebirth of the universe?
If you answered Yes to either of these questions, then King Gizzy and the Lizzy Wizzy might be right for you.

But serially, Dr. Crane, you should give that new Gizzy Lizzy record a chance.
