I feel so conflicted about how little videos there are of their set because: 1. There's no way to relive it. 2. But people were too busy enjoying the show to pull their cellphone to shoot a video. I did shoot a short clip of the middle of Dance Yrself Clean though.

These are the only two pics I have from the show

Post-sas depression is so hard this weekend. All I'm capable of doing is napping and listening to RUFUS. Ugh.

Oooooofff I dolphinately needed a few days to recover and readjust my brain before talking about Squatch. I don't understand, but as per usual Sasquatch magic infiltrated my honestly low expectations and Friday ended up as one of the most memorable and just plain fun days of a music festival I've ever been to. A friend and I had accepted "Bittersweet Symphony" as the theme song for our ridiculous one day Gorge trek for a few weeks and hearing that one main stage band cover it was one of the more surreal experiences I've had. Thee Oh Sees were absurdly good, burned Bigfoot to the ground. A few surprise Yeti acts made the mid day fun. Managed to get second to the front for a pleasantly packed LCD set. Successfully brought to tears by a musical performance for the second time in my half decade of Squatchin'. I honestly think my only regret was not going for the full weekend. Still trying to figure out if all this board praise for 21 Pilots is sarcastic or not Here's hoping for Sasquatch 2018! Hey! I was in the second row as well Whereabout were you? Dead center basically, moved around a bit with all that random pushing. Right by the sparkler group if that helps!

He mentions Trux and Black Dice in the same breath and y'all didn't think to mention this to me...I would have been on board immediately.

After checking a few video clips from Frank Ocean's performance in Denmark today, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that we came out way better with the LCD replacement. Frank would have made for a nice cuddle puddle, but nothing like the LCD party we got.

Pitchfork makes me want to vomit, and this is no exception. I noticed this article close to its publication, and immediately scoffed when I noticed that the festivals with the least diversity were the ones I would rather attend.

Totally understand vomiting by sight of the Pitch, but the graphs on this are just based on data not opinion.

I guess I meant that they're trying to implicate that diversity is GOOD and in most cases they're right, but for festivals like Bunbury that's simply not the case. Sorry for not really expanding. Edit: I also r confuse the first few are extremely niche markets, but Gov Ball is toward the tail and I liked that lineup considerably.

Yeah I definitely agree that diversity is not a factor of what makes a festival "good". You can have 100+ local names that no one else has but that doesn't make it a better lineup. I guess what I found more interesting on the article was the artist gender breakdown of the festivals.

I guess what I found more interesting on the article was the artist gender breakdown of the festivals. Gender breakdown has always been a huge topic of discussion for this board, and I wish that festivals would make a point to ackbowledge female artists totally kickass. Waxahatchee, Palehound, Girlpool, St. Vincent, Bjork, Mitski, Japanese Breakfast, COURTNEY BARNETT, Stevie Nicks the White Witch!? Snacks if you're out there reading this post eating cheesy puffs in your cool vintage Batman pajamas go ahead and hook us up with the badass bombshells would ya?
