Oh where to begin.
1. Marian Hill she had an incredibly funky performance that was just wonderful. 2. M83 ghat converted me into a sizable fan. 3. Sufjan "new Halloween costume" Stevens 4. Vince Staples 5. Disclosure 6. Nathaniel Rateliff 7. Chet Faker 8. Tycho 9. Mac Da Meerkat
Aaaaand
10. Allen Stone/Grimes/Matt Corby
This lineup of this is so subjective because I already feel guilty for not popping Jamie xx or Caribou in there and for Chet being so low. Honestly I wish I cut out of Alabama Shakes performance for Shamir, I but that was a great set I unfortunately missed.

1. M83- I seriously forgot that they were playing. I had no idea that they were going to melt my face off. 2. Sufjan Stevens 3.Purity Ring 4.Rudimental 5.Vince Staples 6. Vic Mensa 7. Shamir 8. Big Grams 9. Jamie Xx 10. Oddisee How was oddisee? He's one of the only rappers to start his set on time and I tried to hit the last of his set after Titus was done slaying but it looked like he ender early. Oddisee was dope , so dope that I was planning on seeing him again tonight in Minneapolis but I lost my wallet the last day of Sass. The crowd participation was seamless. Everyone at that set was there because they wanted to be there. Catch him if you can !

1. M83 2. Sufjan Stevens 3. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard 4. Ty Segall & The Muggers 5. Florence & The Machine 6. Unknown Mortal Orchestra 7. Mac Demarco (partial) 8. Alabama Shakes 9. Purity Ring (partial) 10. Titus Andronicus (partial)
Other Strong ones: Hop Along (partial), Deep Sea Diver, Raury, X Ambassadors, Major Lazer, Summer Cannibals, Todd Terje (partial)
Tagged the ones I only saw ~1/2 sets for. Odds are if I'd seen the whole thing I'd like it more.
Came in with super lukewarm expectations for M83, and they absolutely blew my mind. Probably the best show I've ever seen, but I'm learning shows can be very subjective. Went back and listened to some of their recorded stuff, and its good but the intensity and grandness isn't the same.
Lots of really good shows this year, I felt like overall I saw more enjoyable shows this year than last despite it being a 'weaker' lineup for my taste. Someone did their homework on good live performers.

That M83 set was a fucking magical journey. So completely over the top and ridiculously dramatic, but they pulled that shit off brilliantly. And those visuals. HOLY SHIT those visuals. I knew halfway through the set that it would go down as one of my all time favorite Sasquatch memories.

The visuals had me feeling like I was on a rocket hurtling through space, and the music matched perfectly. I totally dug how seamless everything flowed together, kind of cinematic. So many intense moments, shit blew me away

Edit: Did anyone see that girl that was on top of a guys shoulders at Vic Mensa taking selfies? That was so funny, she never realized everyone was laughing at the big screen while they were focusing on her. i.imgur.com/SOnrLut.jpg

I thought that was hilarious. Why would you even take selfies at that point?

At that point in my night, I was so deep in the communal vibe of oneness that the concept of individual ego was completely foreign to me. I was losing all sense of self to the point that the idea of a "selfie" seemed utterly ridiculous. It was like I knew what she was doing, but for the life of me, I couldn't understand why.

1. M83 2. Sufjan 3. Grimes 4. Alabama Shakes 5. Caribou 6. Wolf Alice 7. Digable Planets 8. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard 9. Yeasayer 10. Big Grams
M83 was one of the best sasquatch sets I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Right up there with LCD in 2010. Digable Planets was the biggest surprise of the weekend, didn't know what to expect and totally loved their reinvention with a badass funk band. Honorable mention to Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, who totally killed it for the 20 min or so I saw, they did a wicked cover of Missy Elliott.
Bummed I missed out on the Internet because my people were too slow, but that's how day four goes.

Grimes' set was pretty much what I expected. Overly quirky talk between songs and a fun dance party on stage. But am I the only one who thought that russian song was just plain stupid?

1. Savages 2. Sufjan Stevens 3. The Cure 4. Yeasayer 5. Blind Pilot 6. Vince Staples 7. Bully 8. Hop Along 9. Oddissee 10. Wet
Digable Planets would be top 10, probably top 5, if I had seen their whole set. I caught whole sets from Hop Along and Blind Pilot instead and look forward to seeing Digable Planets on tour this summer. Honorable mentions to Speedy Ortiz, Yo La Tengo, Vic Mensa, Ty Segall, and the 30 minutes I saw of Kurt Vile. Despite Mother Nature's grumpiness and Diplo's omnipresence, Sasquatch provided yet another fantastic weekend. I hope we get another one next year!
