1. M83 2. Vince Staples 3. Big Grams 4. Florence 5. Purity Ring 6. Oh Wonder 7. Vic Mensa 8. Sufjan 9. Titus Andronicus 10. Disclosure Last: ASAP. Fuck you ASAP.
You want to complain about "small crowd sizes" beyond The Cure, the hill was nearly empty by the time Disclosure finished and Titus Andronicus had probably 50 people at a 7pm set. M83 was lifechangingly good. Vince turned me into a different person. Big Grams was a veritable pilgrimage. Purity Ring was beautiful. Oh Wonder is the most attractive band in the world. Florence has pipes on pipes on pipes.

You want to complain about "small crowd sizes" beyond The Cure, the hill was nearly empty by the time Disclosure finished I was at both sets. Disclosure easily had 5 times as many people as The Cure. The fenced inner pit are wasn't even half full by the time they ended.

Florence was so wonderful. I'm glad my group pulled away from Caribou for a bit to catch some of her set. I had only planned on watching 30-45 minutes of her set before going up to Caribou, but she absolutely entranced me and I couldn't leave. Top 5 Sasquatch set of all time, in my opinion.

Did anyone else happen to catch Sir the Baptist? I had never heard him and hasn't planned on watching his set, but I just happened to get a giant chicken burrito and sat down at one of the picnic tables right as his party was in full swing. It ended up being one of the best midday Yeti parties I've ever seen.

I didn't catch Sir The Baptist but I had a lot of fun surprise Yeti sets this year. Tamaryn, Speedy Ortiz, Bayonne, Joseph and Bully all were really good.

Holy shit that was a fun weekend. Stoked I got to see a lot of you. Good to meet you Geno, Pancakes, Gibbons and Pea's wife. Good to see you again Blacksmile, Wonk, Burrito and Pea. I think that was the extent of the boarders I saw this year but that was by far the most for me for a Sasquatch! 1. Chelsea Wolfe 2. Yeasayer 3. Autolux 4. Baroness 5. Ty Segall & The Muggers 6. Unknown Mortal Orchestra 7. M83 8. Vince Staples 9. Vic Mensa 10. Caribou I saw the first 3 songs in Sufjan and ran up to the start of Chelsea Wolfe. Was planning on watching a few and heading back down for Sufjan but Chelsea put her talons in my buddy and me and we couldn't leave. So amazing. Yeasayer sounded incredible and their setlist was a dream. "2080" and "Sunrise"? Also, "I Am Chemistry" melted my mind and "Silly Me" made me believe I was turning into a gummy bear. Autolux ruled! Burrito got me so fucked up it was perfect. Baroness was a band I had never really listened to and I thought I was going to do a drive by similar to Chelsea Wolfe...but they ruled so hard I couldn't leave. Ty Segall was fucking awesome and I love how he messed with the crowd. UMO shreds like crazy and M83 was magnificent. Vince and Vic were my favorite rap sets of the weekend in a weekend with a lot of good ones. Honorable mention to Cassey Veggies, Digable Planets and Oddisee. FUCK A&AP. I was so exhausted by the time caribou came on that I watched from the side and it was still incredible. AWESOME WEEKEND!!!! Edit: Did anyone see that girl that was on top of a guys shoulders at Vic Mensa taking selfies? That was so funny, she never realized everyone was laughing at the big screen while they were focusing on her. That was frigging hilarious. Vic and Vince both absolutely killed it. The biggest mistake I made all weekend was leaving Vince early to get to the floor for A$AP. After a half hour of waiting, I said fuck it and went up to the Easy Street booth to give Vince props and buy his record. I think Rocky was finally on stage just as I was headed up the hill. Fuck him. More like WhenIFeelLikeIt Rocky, amirite? Re: The Cure, on top of the under 30 crowd not having any taste in music You have to remember the Cure was playing against Big Boi, and there's just as much nostalgia for Outkast as The Cure for a lot of people.

This year was awesome, everyone I saw killed it and looked like they were having tons of fun (besides ASAP, fuck ASAP).
1. Sufjan Stevens - barely even knew him before the festival and he blew me away) 2. Todd Terje - I didn't stop dancing for his entire set. It was unbelievable. His live remix of Dance with Somebody was amazing and Inspector Norse drove me insane) 3. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - I still have bruises from the mosh pit. They were such a tight band. 4. Alabama Shakes - Somehow got front row for them and loved every second 5. Jamie xx - He's a super skilled DJ, I was digging all of the tracks and got a sick picture of the disco ball. I'm happy he played some songs off his remix album of Gil Scott Heron. 6. The Cure - Robert Smith's voice hasn't changed at all. Just Like Heaven was beautiful 7. Beat Connection - When they brought out the horn section, I was feeling it hardcore 8. Digable Planets - I had a dance off with this random dude like 20 years older than me for pretty much the entire time. I felt the funk. 9. Four Tet - Ran over there after Sufjan and danced my ass off 10. La Luz - I have to put them in because I was tripping intensely during their set and I felt like we were all on a spaceship flying into the sun

And Oukast played Sasqutch 2 years ago, 6 years more recently than the Cure. But for the 19-24 year olds, Outkast is a bigger deal. The inner pit size for the Cure was very sad. I thought it would be larger considering how many Cure songs receive regular play on alt rock radio.

I'm well aware that big grams isn't outkast. But aquemini is one of the first albums I ever fell in love with. That show was nothing short of a pilgrimage for me. People talk about the cure being legends, but big boi is a legend in his own right. I hit the cure for about half an hour, danced for a couple baauer songs and then sprinted to big grams. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as abrasive but the cure fans constantly throwing shade ever since the lineup came out has gotten to me.

He's one of the only rappers to start his set on time and I tried to hit the last of his set after Titus was done slaying but it looked like he ender early.
