Does every indie rock band with a member named Ira eventually release an album with the word "popular" in it?

The falling out of love with the song (not that I was ever really in love with it) has more to do with hearing it so many times to the point when you are sick of it. There are some songs that I never seem to get tired of, but midnight city isn't one of them.

Song from the new album.
I know this was posted in another thread but I'll just put it here anyway.

It is pretty incredible to me how fast M83 have gone from "Oh, the Midnight City guys" to one of my top 5 most anticipated acts this year. I really need to go give that album another chance because I have been loving the hell out of Saturdays and Before the Dawn.

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON IN THIS ALBUM.
I'm listening to it now and I'm 99% sure he is fucking with all of us, or has lost his god damn mind.

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON IN THIS ALBUM. I'm listening to it now and I'm 99% sure he is fucking with all of us, or has lost his god damn mind. I am currently on my 3rd listen to "Junk". As of right now I adore the songs "Atlantique suds", "Sunday Night 1987", as well as "For the Kids". I also really dig the monster guitar presence in "Go!". As with most albums, there are a few middle-of-the-road songs, however there are definitely some eyebrow raisers on this album that leave you wondering whether he might be having too much fun at times, in a way that makes M83 seem a bit silly, but not ridiculous, just... Goofy? Maybe? All in all there are some real gems here, coupled by a few wtf's?

I'm pretty much in love with this album and I don't know if I would like it as much without the weird 80s/90s shit. Probably, but we'll never know, will we?

I tried listening to Hurry Up, We're Dreaming once and made it as far as that song they play on the radio all the time and had to turn it off. Portugal. The Man! put out that super popular song and so I had to discredit the rest of their back-catalog.
