Considering the point in their discography it was released, The Head on the Door is surprisingly catchy as fuck. Have you listened to that one yet, Pancakes? So many great songs on that one. Not yet, but it went on my To Do list after I saw your post this morning.

Enjoy! I discovered it pretty late into my career (for lack of a better term) as a Cure fan, and was genuinely shocked that I had been missing out on such an incredible album for so long.

When they announced this tour, they said their new stage production would be sure to make it a "must-see". Didn't look like anything crazy with their set up, but whatever. That announcement just had me really curious to see what they were going to do.

Looks like they're switching up the set list every night since they ended up playing 10 songs from Disintegration tonight.

It should be noted that last night and tonight's shows are at the same place and most bands switch the set up when they play multiple dates in the same town, but it does seem like The Cure vary the set list up quite a bit every night. Overall, I think I like tonight's list a little better, but the real point here is that they played Burn. Again. That makes me more optimistic about our chances. Side note: they've now played that song three times in New Orleans and never anywhere else.

I have a "short list" for some of my favorite songs by The Cure, in no particular order....
Primary Close to Me (imo best track off that phenomenal album, The Head on the Door) A Forest Boys Don't Cry Just Like Heaven Lovesong A Night Like This (I really, REALLY want them to play this!) Question: Do they go off stage in between all their 4 encores?

Question: Do they go off stage in between all their 4 encores? That's kind of the definition of an encore.

Question: Do they go off stage in between all their 4 encores? That's kind of the definition of an encore. I just thought that running on and off stage like 5 times felt a little excessive

If they keep playing Burn in the encores, I might have to miss Big Grams altogether. That would suck, but I think it would be worth it. But if I sick around till the end and they don't play it, I will be many of the sads.

That would make me very happy. Those encores seem a little silly though, each time you leave stage and come back is time you could be playing more songs. I hope they don't do that at sasquatch because I'm pretty sure after the first one most people will think it's actually over and start leaving.

I'd guess anyone not interested in the cure would be getting their Harlem Shake on instead of watching old people music.
I'd generally be surprised by more than one encore at a festival set. Depends how long the breaks are I guess.
