I quite like their new album, but do they have the fan base in America to support that? The Yeti stage is very small. An act doesn't have to be huge to close it. I really don't want them playing opposite Alabama Shakes. Fucking potential conflicts!

I think I'd sacrifice Alabama Shakes if it meant I got to see all of Mac Demarco and all of Frightened Rabbit as well. Time will tell, I'm guessing we'll have the schedule within the next two weeks. I remember a couple years ago they released it the first day of Coachella.

Starting to get pretty stoked on Autolux Me too. I just listened to the new album today for the first time, definitely on my list of bands to see this year.

Yeah I should really give them a chance, and stop judging their current potential based on their humdrum performance in 2012.

Look up some recent live performances on YouTube. Brittany Howard is a beast on stage. If they weren't playing the same day as The Cure, they would be headliner worthy in my opinion.

They sub-headlined Lollapalooza last year right before Sir Paul...They are super worthy of that position and could definitely headline the festival any other day. Even with tech problems , Brittany Howard absolutely SLAYED.

I want for Mac to play on Bigfoot.... No real reason why I feel this way.... just feel that vibe fits him better. Hoping to see him and Allen Stone switch spots.

I can vouch for this--I've seen them 3 times and they have brought it every time. great sound/ dynamics. the lead is very passionate and it's just feel good, talented stuff. what was lacking in their performance in 2012?

I'm not sure, the sloped view of the gorge in the background/ while being able to people watch, with Freakin Out the Neighborhood playing--sounds awesome. though,on the other hand, maybe Bigfoot would allow for a more intimate performance.

I can see how a indoor venue could be intimate. Or how the Tiny Desk Concerts are intimate. What do you mean by an intimate performance at Sasquatch?

I personally feel like when you're up front at the Bigfoot stage it seems like you're one of hundreds, not quite as intimate as the Yeti, but still like the performances are special. It might have to do with the night Ezra Koenig made me feel like the prettiest girl at the ball by making what felt like eye contact with me, but ever since that stage has always seemed incredibly personal with its performances to me. The Sasquatch stage has always felt larger than life conversely. You pause in the moment and look back and there are thousands of humans living this moment with you, and you realize you're such a small part of a big performance. Maybe it's not truly intimate at the Bigfoot stage, but I can picture Mac Demarco ripping the ever loving shit out of some tunes on the Bigfoot, and I gotta say it's exactly where I want to see him. No gimmicks just Demarco.

I think Savages might be too big of a draw for the Yeti. I hope they end up playing earlier on the Main or Bigfoot. I was working on a version with Autolux closing the Yeti instead, but didn't want to post based on just my predictions.
My guess is that if Savages do close the Yeti, Autolux will play right before them.

I like that theory. Autolux seems like a higher billed Yeti band, and Savages would be a perfect mid-late afternoon Bigfoot act.

I would but Big Grams before Purity Ring on Bigfoot and have Baauer close out Chupa.

This would be a great day for me. Frightened Rabbit > Savages > Speedy Ortiz > Alabama Shakes > Big fucking Grams > The Cure > Purity Ring.
