If you know exactly what you're doing, it's great but kind of high maintenance. The frozen 1-gallon jugs make a lot more sense if you have room for them. I like to keep perishable stuff that doesn't mind being frozen in a small dry ice cooler, and everything else like drinks and produce in a big water ice cooler.

Sasquatch gets cold enough at night that dry ice isn't necessary. One (small) cooler with food that you stock with ice daily. One or more for drinks. If you have a cooler full of water and beer it will be cold enough to drink in the morning until like noon. Buy a bag before you go in, maintain the food cooler and put the rest in the drink cooler. Ensures food stays ok and you will have some cold beers for the aftershows. Rinse and repeat.

Dry ice is overrated. Once it sublimates, the cold is gone. If you freeze up some large containers of water, say 1 gallon milk jugs, and place them into your cooler, they will stay frozen for most of the weekend unless you leave your lid open. And the water in the jugs as it melts can be used for drinking, washing up, etc. Just be careful not to overfill the jugs - leave an inch or two of space at the top. Otherwise the expansion of the freezing water will loosen the cap. Just another helpful insight into the physics of the ice problem. I just freeze a case or 2 of bottled water, Gatorade, etc and put them in coolers with other stuff I want to keep cold. The drinks can take all weekend to thaw out completely and keep everything else cold. Pull out a few frozen ones periodically to drink. I'm surprised more people don't do this.

Also a good place to get dry ice? In Seattle or near the festival. I looked at the thread you sent and the first two pages are about single day tickets haha. The only dry ice website you will ever need. www.dryicedirectory.com/

How big are the personal camping grounds at Sasquatch festival? Sorry this is the only "active" camping thread. Would a 5 or 6 person be ok? and a canopy?

It's somewhat hot or miss but compared to other festivals you get a lot of space. There's no defined lines or anything, they just park the cars in a row and you get all the space between the back of your car and the next row of cars behind you basically. Try to pull in kind of far from the car in front of you, pull in kind of sideways, and generally spread out. They might try to make you straighten out but just pretend you forgot how to drive and act confused. When it comes down to it they don't care, especially since camping won't be sold out. Try to instantly make friends with neighbours and you guys can possibly work out a tent area and canopy area and be more efficient with space.
Basically you'll be fine.

Ok, so I am leaning towards Wildhorse right now. I have never been there and I know Blacksmile loves it. I kind of love district 9 but I kind of want to check it out.

Right on my friend. There are still 74 spots available and I'm assuming they will still be there tomorrow. The best thing about it is the food and the cleanliness. Fuck I can't wait!! One week from today I should be pulling my car into the spot right around this time.

Holy shit that's it? I was kind of thinking more like 500 based on the pictures I've seen. I tried to find an actual number but no dice. That is a pretty strong indication of poor sales if the campground that basically always sells out is only 3/4 sold. Or maybe there's just less pregnant attendees this year.

I just do not recall ever seeing a number bigger than 250-300 when I've looked in the past, and that was right about the time that Sasquatch reservations went on sale. Regardless, it never feels crowded.

It doesn't look that big. From my experience it usually sells out closer to the show. That isn't the case for all shows. I guess it sells out way in advance for Labor Dave. While it does sell out, they usually keep some space for drive ins that are first come first serve.
