Babies don't like Sasquatch, they're babies.
I can't afford festivals this year. I'm doing Shambhala because Pea and the crew surprised me with a ticket on New Years Eve.

Something fun to do is go to the FB page to look at everyone who is complaining about the lineup, then go to their profile and look at all the music they "like" on FB. IT'S A REAL HOOT. Best in show so far is Sister Hazel and Taproot.

I wish Monday was less stacked because half the bands I'm jazzed about play that day. Dreading conflict.

Although this is not my favorite lineup, it does tickle my fancy. I have been waiting 10 years Four the Tet at Sasquatch and that is a big deal. Speaking of big deals, THIS WILL BE MY 10TH CONSECUTIVE SASQUATCH MOTHERFUCKERS LET'S PARTY LIKE MAMMALS IN BATTLE

I saw the Cure in the rain at Austin City Limits in 2013. Best set of the weekend. But then again, I'm old and it was a warm rain... however, Robert Smith sounded just like himself from the 80's, so there you go.
btw - fascination street was a major mind blow... can't wait to see it at the gorge

But actually for serious how are the Cure live? I skipped their set last time oops. They were pretty good in '08 but I only saw half of them because of Malkmus on the Bigfoot blowing my mind with his sweet riffs. Watched them from the hill in a cuddle puddle and fell asleep.

I really haven't given Chelsea Wolfe enough attention. Pretty impressed listening to her now.

I really haven't given Chelsea Wolfe enough attention. Pretty impressed listening to here stuff now. I never listened to her much until her recent album, but I can say that I really enjoy the hell out of it. Very dark, doomy, and beautiful.
