Hall and Oates would not headline. I will eat Burrito's hat if I'm wrong. Whoa-oh, here he comes. He's a hat eater. Watch out, hats, he'll chew you up. B-

The Lumineers play Marymoor the Friday after Sasquatch. Don't see it happening, as much as I enjoy them.

It seems that after adding Gordi, Sasquatch has taken out Oskar (who was located next to Gordi in the lineup page). I can't find him anymore.

Is it just me or does there seem to be less buzz about Sasquatch this year than in previous years? My personal experience so far has been a bunch of folks satisfied with the undercard but most are still extremely underwhelmed by the headliners. And yes, everyone knows it's not a festival geared toward headliners, but let's face it, if you list a headliner, it needs to be a headliner. Most seem glad to see Florence, or accepting of Disclosure, but there's not a lot of excitement towards either, not in a way that may sway people who are on the fence about going. The only real buzz seems to be because of The Cure. I've also noticed the FB page is pretty dead as well, any daily posts Sasquatch makes only gets a dozen or so likes... Maybe it's because the lineup came out a month early so there's a bit of a lull now? Idk, I'll be there, I'm excited, not the most excited I've been towards Sasquatch, also not the least, but when it's all said and done I know I will never regret going I'm very curious as to how sales have been doing.

Everytime I see LCD on a poster that isn't Sasquatch it makes me a little bit sad. I'm psyched as hell, though! This is one of the best undercards we've had in recent memory.

I definitely feel it, Darth. Even the board is deader than it's ever been in the few months leading up to the festival. It may end up being an interesting year for Sasquatch.

One thing I notice is that all the camping options are still available. Premier and Gold usually sell out first thing. That is the biggest thing that tells me sales aren't going very well.

So two things: 1) Just got my airplane tickets to SEA for me and the girl and can't wait to go to this fine festival! 2) Based on your and everybody else who has attended the festival, is this year a "slow" year? How many people do ya'll think will attend? What is the year with lowest attendance?

I spoke with a Live Nation rep last week about a ticket issue and I asked her how many tickets were sold and she said "there was plenty of inventory left"

oh and to add to my last post:
Is there a batch of additions coming in? Does Sasquatch usually do that similar to Bonnaroo?

I don't think they publish specific number each year, but we do know that last year was the first year in many that it didn't sell out. Due to the mixed reactions to the prices and lineup this year, along with the unusually high volume of advertisements on Facebook, it at least so far appears to be another slow year. Perhaps even slower than last year? It's all just educated guessing, really. As many people have stated, the poor Canadian dollar along with multiple new festival options for Canadians who otherwise would come down for Sasquatch might be taking a considerable toll on attendance. It can't be stated enough how many more Sasquatch attendees used to be Canadian before last year.

Historically they have always added anywhere between 8-12 artists following the initial lineup. Not usually anyone that would change someone's mind who was on the fence, but there are always a few good additions.

This is the most telling sign to me. Last year, even though the festival didn't sell out in advance, Premier camping was sold out within a week or two of going on sale.

Is low ticket sales necessarily bad for us? Less people, less waiting lines and such no? But on the other hand the experience isn't the same I guess.

Even Wild Horse has camping left. Doesn't that sell out pretty fast as well?

As long as the festival still runs as planned, then hell yes it's a great thing for attendees. Shorter wait times and more manageable crowds always sounds nice when you're packed into a venue with tens of thousands of people.
