missed that moment .. we left a little early because the hype boy was pissing us off and some kid was rolling too hard and he puked on my buddies shoes. Which is fine because we always pick up burner shoes for the festival at walmart in Moses Lake (NEVER BRING SHOES YOU LIKE TO THE GORGE!)

Burrito you owe me like 5 high fives for being right about Alabama Shakes. You want to high five because Major Lazer is headlining?

I'm still skeptical that Major Lazer headlines. Until I see a schedule with them closing the main stage I will remain skeptical.

I'm still skeptical that Major Lazer headlines. Until I see a schedule with them closing the main stage I will remain skeptical. I'm with you. I'm currently left scratching my head at the idea of a festival organizer who doesn't care for electronic music putting a god damn Diplo project (that has already played twice) at the top of a lineup that already has another electronic headliner. I understand the popularity of the genre, and I understand the potential idea of bringing back some of the Paradiso crowd, but at the end of the day this festival is AZ's baby, and I think he miiight still have something else in mind for the top spot that day.

The surprise of the day-by-day breakdown is the Cure and Alabama Shakes are playing the same day. Alabama Shakes are the appropriate draw for a Sasquatch headliner, and where they are on other festival posters should prove that. I'd guess they are billed third, fourth at the worst. I'd guess the Cure are billed first, second at the worst. In a truly balanced top tier, you would pair 1/8, 2/7, 3/6, and maybe have a dual headliner 4/5 the fourth night, like they've done in the past. You don't pair a 1/3 or a 2/4 the same day at Sasquatch. We know Vampire Weekend played the second stage one year because it was the only night they could play. I'd guess there are circumstances causing the Shakes and the Cure [for the Shakes] to play the same day. pooping up a top 8 billed act with a neat light show to a headlining slot without having to pay them more money is a reasonable response to those circumstances. If ticket sales suck, it does leave the probability of adding an extra headliner. I don't think they'll have trouble selling tickets with this lineup, so temper your addition expectations.
