I'd never even heard of Gogol Bordello but that set was fucking amazing. The energy was insane which made it such a great show.

Gogol's not the best to listen to on record but live, they're fucking phenomenal.

RTJ's Coachella set was so good that I never need to see them again.

Can someone please confirm that Spoon played Out Go the Lights? I don't know if that happened or I dreamed it, either way it was beautiful.

I saw them in 2008 or so and they looked like they were barely pushing 30 at that point but they looked well into their 50's at Sasquatch! I was also surprised to learn they're from Austin, TX... they've always seemed hella British to me. Those tricksters. Update: Apparently the lead singer is only 44, he looked a lot older than that to me.

Yes. Spoon is a well aged band. Thank you for that observance. I'm sure whatever stage you were at was a million times more hip and young.

I was at the stage that those old dudes in Spoon were playing on.

How else would anyone be able to say that Spoon looked really fucking old at Sasquatch unless they were watching Spoon at Sasquatch? What?

My mind was way too torn up from that Modest Mouse set to even notice the age of the members of Spoon. They killed it too though.
