Last year did they say what stages the bands were playing at before they released the schedule? Cause I was looking at some of the mocks from last year and they were pretty accurate Ya, last year had every act listed by day and stage with the initial announcement. I don't think they wanted to do that this year because Friday was so light when they announced. By my first estimation, there were only 3 or 4 main stage acts and only one in the tent that were initially announced for Friday. Yeah that seems like it would make sense. I wonder if they're ever going to put them put later or something, the place where a stage should be on Ab-Soul's page has a "TEST TEST"

I'm sure they've got it pretty much figured out already though, so who knows?

Kendrick's new album just dropped early. First listen impressions: incredible, incredible album from a lyricism and social commentary standpoint, but seems like less outright bangers than GKMC, and thus maybe less conducive to live performance. Can't wait to find out how he performs these songs though.

This album is so good. It will be good live. Don't need "bangers."

Do you think Sasquatch would add Miley? She has a gap in her tour schedule so she could make it. She'd make a much better headliner than a band only 10% of Sasquatch attendees care about.

Good job, bertdrew12! More exciting when it was Sleater-Kinney, but you found a good strategy.

No more Chris Gethard though it looks like... Unless he was removed before this and I missed it

So the new Kendrick album is already blowing up and getting crazy critical acclaim from just about everywhere. It looks like his first show following the release of To Pimp a Butterfly will be at Sasquatch. This is gonna be a really special set, I can feel it.

I'm critically acclaiming the shit out of that album. It's one of the best albums I've heard of any genre in a long time. He really needs to have a live band backing him and it will definitely be one of the best sets of the weekend.

And since he shouts out Killer Mike on the album, I have a fantasy that RTJ will hang out a couple extra days so Mike can do a guest spot in Kendrick's set. The two of them on stage together would be too much to handle.

Edit: RTJ on Monday confirmed. Killer Mike guest spot during Kendrick confirmed!

Guys, I think I like Ryan Adams. Usually, that borderline country heartland Americana Mellencamp rock doesn't do anything for me, but this dude is one hell of a songwriter and some of his songs give me the serious feels. Plus, his self titled album that came out last year is actually really good. When I first saw the lineup, I thought he was billed way too high, but the dude has 14 studio albums (not counting the stuff he did with the two bands he was in over the years and several live albums), so I think he's earned the high billing. He also has quite a reputation as an exceptional live performer. Barring any major scheduling conflict, I think I will be enjoying his set this year.

He's going to put on a helleva show. His songwriting and work got stagnant while he was married to Mandy Moore. Now that he kicked her to the curb, it seems like he's got his mojo back and I expect a great performance, hopefully with some Natalie Prass mixed it.

Ryan Adams is great live. And this board is my new go to. Checked back in with reddit... they're still complaining about Sleater Kinney being a headliner.
