I think this may have already been pointed out, but The Decemberists skip Seattle on their upcoming tour to support the new record.

I keep trying to corner Snacks at shows and ask him if it's stupid of me to get my hopes up for Bjorky.

As I do adore some of the new music out these days I think a sub-Seattle based festival should do a 90's themed Sasquatch. I am not from Washington, but a majority of the music I cherish came from Seattle. So Santa please bring me: Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Death Cab for Cutie, Foo Fighters, Rage against the Machine, Tool, A perfect circle, Hum, Ani Difranco, NIN, Daft Punk, Paul Oakenfold, Smashing Pumpkins (with a friendly Billy Corgan) and in the stocking: the silversun pickups, Florence + the Machine, Sam Westphalen, mew, sigur ros-truly amazing at Sasquatch 2013, faithless, and Regina Spektor. oh wait... since this is a dream add Annie Lennox to that mix. Got a little out of hand but damn this would be awesome. It would make for a great older crowd this year!

It's like they started with every Seattle band they could think of, and then gave up and just started naming every band that played a festival last year.

I heard that they also might be bringing out the Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, and Elliott Smith holograms for a special "Northwest Sad Dude Superjam".

IDK who will be there. But I'm 100% positive with the way her touring schedule is, my girl Lana Del Rey will be on the lineup. Ridgefield WA on the 22nd and no other show for a week.

The combination of "posts = less than 10" and "via mobile" guarantee that will never happen.
