Wishful thinking........ Prince? Wishful thinking: noobs who actually read the thread before posting. Literally both of your suggestions have been discussed at length in the first two pages of this thread. Also, don't abuse your ellipse privileges, lest you invoke the ire of the horned one.

How about a Nirvana reunion with St. Vincent on vocals? Or is that too much a Coachella thing?

How about a Nirvana reunion with St. Vincent on vocals? Or is that too much a Coachella thing? I really think that was a one time thing (or two time if you count later that evening at whatever Brooklyn bar it is). Dave Grohl doesn't need that check, and he respects Kurt too much to continue "honoring" him.

Apparently Rustie's Seattle show this past week was cancelled. He has new US dates for 2015 and is playing Portland but not Seattle. Really hope he shows up at Sasquatch!

The Strokes are headlining Primavera, which doesn't overlap with Sasquatch this year. They could possibly be a headliner, since we know they'll be playing shows around the time. Foo Fighters will be in the UK starting on May 25th, so if they're gonna be at Sasquatch then it'll probably have to be one of the first days, although planes are a thing so whatever.

Has anyone here seen the Strokes live in recent years? Input on whether or not them headlining would be a good thing?

Also do you guys think there's a possibility that they might announce a headliner at the time of presale? It's probably not likely but they might need a feel to "win back" the legions of hostile Facebook posters.

The only time they've done that (that I can recall) was in 2011 but that may have been more for the 10th anniversary / addition of the fourth day.

No reason to even try.

Nickelback's playing the Gorge on June 20 next year. Looks like we can safely rule them out.
