Think about how shitty Snacks must feel. I think we should throw him a party and destroy everything owned by Livenation - someone let Tyler the Creator know we'll need his help. (Also, please don't sue/arrest me for saying this, livenation)

I just got home and realized I don't even have any booze to get drunk with. I haven't been this devastated since The White Stripes cancelled their last show a week before it was supposed to happen.

This seriously shakes my faith in Sasquatch. I know we are all hurtin' bad right now. I'm completely heartbroken. But I don't necessarily think this should rock our faith in Sasquatch and it's magic. Sasquatch/Snacks put together this incredible fucking lineup, they took a risk knowing that it likely would not attract all the teeny-boppers and brohans but did it anyway as an offering to us diehards who truly care about musc ... it's the fucking naysayers who bitched and moaned about it before even giving it a chance to play out, the music lovers who failed to (our couldn't afford to) buy the tickets and most of all the corporate fucktards at LiveNation that ruined it. Granted, more could have been done to increase ticket sales, like a payment plan or adding something crazy or advertising and what not. But most of that shit falls on LiveNation. And we've all known for a long time that LiveNation is a greedy, evil parasite that couldn't care less about pulling the plug on what was one of the most unique and incredible lineups out there this year if there was even a chance that they weren't going to make substantial profit off it. TL;DR I still believe in Sasquatch Magic. FUCK LIVE NATION. You are a wise soul, and it is appreciated that you can speak in a rational voice a midst this terrible announcement. My heart hurts and you are helping heal it.

I wasn't attending Sasquatch in July, but man do I feel bad for those of you that were. For some of you, seeing Kraftwerk would have been the highlight of your summer, so I hope you get to see them at some point while they're nearby.
I'm surprised that the official announcement had no form of apology or anything. Even a slight apology goes a long ways.
Here's to hoping that some of these bands transfer to Maysquatch so we can make the most of a shit situation. Speaking of which, hope to see all of you in May.

And they're putting it all on us too, "the Sasquatch community has spoken". SUCH UTTER BULLSHIT!

I am just going to go loiter at the gorge that weekend. Can we seriously do this? I don't think that field is used for anything else and there is no way to actually lock it up.

To be fair, a lot of us, myself included, bitched a whole shit ton about the 2 weekend thing until we saw the lineups.

I'm so disappointed in society in general right now, but most of all I am angry at the entire PNW for not buying tickets. It just blows my mind how a lineup like that can just be disregarded. Like Nadine said if it doesn't generate ridiculous amounts of profit Live Nation doesn't give a shit. The fucking tickets were pretty expensive, but I didn't mind paying it for that lineup.

So I guess NIN and Soundgarden can go ahead and tell us about their PNW stop now. I held out on jumping on tickets for one of those shows, since I was planning on going to Sasquatch a couple weeks prior.

I imagine the artists have known this was coming for a while already. I imagine they all new at least around the time you noticed the Bloody Beetroots booking another show. All your concern was justified. Who would have thought it would have been so extreme though.

I didn't even think about that, but you're probably right. That was weeks ago. They didn't even have tickets on sale for a month before deciding to scrap it.
